Of course they get together. Go back the the prologue of Zelda: 2. The story was the original king of hyrule was the only one to posses the entire triforce (Which Link had in Skyward Sword.) they had a son and a daughter and when the son became king he was confused as to why he did not inherit the triforce. Turned out the king separated the triforce of courage and only told his daughter, named Zelda where he hid it. etc, etc. look it up.

I enjoyed this game a lot but still not as epic an ending as OoT. I wished they would've had some of the classic music foreshadowed in the game more since this is the beginning of the story. IMO there could have been so much more weight added emotionally to this game if they had done so.

The loftwings answer Zelda's question. Them flying away implies that Link stayed with Zelda forever on the surface, or course, it's up to interpretation, but that's what I got out of it :)

@mp5k9mm1 twilight princess actually, according to the official zelda timeline published not too long ago, comes much later chronologically. it goes, according to the timeline, skyward sword, minish cap, four swords, ocarina of time, majora's mask (assuming you followed the child timeline), and then twilight princess. yes, skyward sword is a prequel to twilight princess, but not a direct one. You should check out the timeline if you havent already. its cool to know where all the games go!!

Heres how it should go. Link builds them a house, tehy have sex and get 30 kids. Then those kids find other creatures and have babies with them, and that's how every creature in Hyrule was born.

I think a few more months should have been spent fine tuning the gameplay and the character animations during scenes and speech moments.

I'm sure more people come from Skyloft in time. The cloud barrier has been penetrated by Link's efforts and I don't think Nintendo are inferring that all the humans come from Link and Zelda!

As for the other races, Gorons already exist. I've been presuming that squid race are a predecessor to the Zora. Dunno about Deku. It'll all work out eventually :P

@Seckler3153 Gorons were already in existence. They were one of the races that fought with Hylia against Demise. It's very possible that the Deku and Kokiri are descended from the Kikwe. The Gerudo are...tricky, though since there's an insect called the Gerudo Dayfly in the game, it's quite possible they existed but weren't shown in the game, as they're distinct from the Hylians (the humans elevated to Skyloft). The Zora...that's another tricky one.

@windkai It wasn't called Hyrule yet, just "the surface." A detailed Zelda encyclopaedia (Hyrule Historia) written by the game's developers was released a few months ago. In it was the entire history of Hyrule, the Zelda timeline and everything between. It revealed that the Royal Family was established by this Zelda's distant descendants on the surface generations later, who then went on to establish Hyrule shortly after Rauru built the Temple of Time over the Sealed Temple.
