I was just flipping through channels on TV and something about this documentary that was on made me stop and I was moved by the words that he said and the things ppl did in response, and the truth that is out there that we ignore every day, and I liked him, and then I looked up at the screen in time to see that he died and I was shocked I almost cried. Crazy that something can impact you so prominently in twenty min.

Then I looked up what i could find and found this. Made me cry too.

the previous day he was at my school The Academy of Saint Josephs. I remember this poem so well, he brought me into free the children which I am now a proud active member of for the past five years. and I can't believe that this vide is posted. I am so happy it is. I'm going to show the members of our chapter of FTC this when I get back from xmas break. it is beautiful.

This is the saddest thing I've ever seen. I was watching make some noise yesterday--a TV show about youths making a difference and Joe's story was on!

I was so sad to hear about his young death. Not only did he die young, he also has no choice but to let go of his desire to help others (because hes dead)!

Now others have to follow his legacy.
