I am the current owner of the 1981 490 at minute 2:11 and the prior owner of the 1983 490 shown at minute 2:46. I did the entire restoration of the 1983 machine with help from Canadian Maico Connection John Cauldwell. New wheels done by Vintage Iron. Machine received a new Maicos Only exhaust and silencer (Not pictured) prior to sale. Restoration of the1983 bike totaled $ 12,000 USD including initial purchase price of the bike. Current owner is long time friend who lives in the Phillipines.
