always a miserable so and so who ticks dislike. Anyway, loved the video and did nt give a hoot about your mistake. Brilliant stuff, well done. It was a great help.
I have a H2n and initial tests are very very good. I intend to use it as a secondary recording device for filmmaking. Your playing is Awesome, by the way. The Alvarez sounds great, clear as a bell!
I am thinking to buy this mic :).. Right now I have the AKG Perception 420, I`m not sure if H2n will be better in terms of clarity and "closeness" to the ear.
:D Thanks for sharing! (Great playing too bad of that one mistake :)))))
@TheoO18 This is not just a mic, this is a whole, not expensive field recorder that can work as USB mic as well. I have its predecessor H2 and it's great for recording natural sounds, even in four channel surround mode, but you can use it for many other things as well. It's great for musicians, great for broadcast recording with the camera (DSLR cameras) or radio interviews(my field of work), press conferences and stuff.
@slywinkisme If you use real studio condenser mic, nothing can be compared with that. Besides H2, I still have two Audio Technica mics for jobs other then field recording. However, I find H2 very useful when I go for conferences and other trips for recording entire radio shows outside of studio. Just bring all you need for editing shows on your laptop, while H2 does the rest of the business.
@slywinkisme Well, if you need to record something outside of studio, and that includes video camera recording as well, or plan on recording live gigs, like concerts or stand-ups or whatever, then you definitely need field recorder like H2. If you're only doing voiceovers stick with the condenser.
But 200$ is not such a huge expense for a good stuff... ;)
@bocic You right! And I'm gone use it exectly like you said. + I'm musition myself so concerts rehesals thats what I'm goin to record. But in Ukrain 200$ is not too small price to buy it at once ;-) Have to earn some extras...
Man....this sounds awesome. I just bought one of these today and I gotta say I'm impressed....thanks for the vid!
