@randomjcee : I own a Mosrite, and that's a so-so copy. The headstock is wrong, The *body shape* is wrong. The pickups are DeArmonds (I think). The vibrato tailpiece does look right, and it does sound good, though.

The original was not by The Ventures but by The Dakotas and written by their guitarist Mike Maxwell. IMHO The Dakotas' version is better than The Ventures' version. I love this Cicchi version. Does anyone know what happened to her? I read a Youtube comment that she had a drug problem.

I was at a Ventures show in Tokyo (Roppongi) at the STB 139 club and Chicchi was seated at the table next to mine, with her father and some other Japanese Ventures fans whom I'd met at Nokie Edwards place four years before. So it can be a very small world indeed. She was quite elated that an American had heard of her. She speaks very little English but can she really make a guitar sing. She also knows some Shadows stuff as well, a real talented guitarist with great stage presence.

@akhristov It's not a Wilson Bros. It is an Aria Ventures model, I have the Wilson Bros Model and an Aria both, Wilson Bros. cannot be obtained in Japan. Only Aria's are available in these models there. Chicchi also has a true 1964 Ventures Model Mosrite too, she occasionally plays it.

all you profesional guitarists out there.. this chick looks meaner than you, even in a tutu. She rocks. she needs to have a bit more movement. Without any dancing around, she kind of is heading towards being a country singer. if she rocked around, jumped a little she'd change the hole image of just being cute and smiling. but she kicks ass on the guitar.. for her age.
