  • this is golden

  • This guy is often a blowhard, but you can't refute any of his points here.

One complaint: It's not about race to the rich people. Look at Wisconsin, where they're trying to turn workers against unions because on average they make marginally more money.

A nontrivial number of people turned against their fellow workers, not even to see themselves elevated, but for the sole purpose of bringing others down. Meanwhile, the banks keep giving bonuses, laughing at us behind our backs.

This is what the video is about. Not blacks committing more rapes or whites committing more child molestation. Shame on us for being so blind, will we ever open our eyes to the realization that these greedy elitist will sell out this country and your kids and care not about us outside the elite cast system.

Now here is the problem, Ive been led to believe that you are the reason I struggle to reach my goals and dreams in this society and you have been led to believe that I am the reason that you struggle to reach your goals and dreams in this society. When we do this a smoke screen is created that prevents us from seeing our commonality of interest which diminishes our collective power to work together for positive change that elevates us both social and economically.

The video suggest that we open our eyes and see that we share commonality of interest and to use that commonality as a vehicle of healing and understanding so that we can work together to improve our share of the American dream. If you are a white middle class father and I am a black middle class father chances are that we want the same things for our family. Were possibly more alike than we are different so are the political issues that affect us.

because we dont come to this realization we continue to blame each other for the ailments of our society. It is not about what race commits the most crime! Its about how much power we have collectively to gain a greater share of the American dream. The problem is that we continue to buy into the prehistoric notion that one group is more elite than the other because it makes us feel accepted into a higher cast system that none of us really have any privileges in.

  • At first I was quite amazed at the amount of people who view this video and still dont get it, but then I remembered that this is due to centuries of psychological conditioning orchestrated intentionally or not by an elitist cast system. Today in modern society it is still working. The intent of the video is not to blame any race for anything, the intent is to help us understand that every race in this country that is middle class and below have more in common than they realize.

    continued:

  • Its the same in British Crime survey 2006 shows that in the most serious categories of racial attacks, ie woundings and murders, out of 24,000 incidents, 20,000 of the victims were white. Have a look for yourself.

  • a jew who hates white people? why am i not shocked

  • Tim Wise is a moron. He DOESN'T get it. He just wants to stir up racial animosity where it doesn't exist. MOST sensible blacks out there don't think whites are out to get them or keep them down. And most whites don't think blacks are inferior and want to subjugate them! White privilege, which has no empirical backing whatsoever and is based only on anecdotal "evidence", is bullshit. It's a racist theory. Tim Wise should be ashamed. After all, he's white. How could he say such nonsense.

  • Thank you for proving Mr. Wise right. Do you want to see the evidence for What wise is talking about? I suggest you watch the news more often. I also suggest that you think about what image pops up in your mind when you think of a black person.

  • Lets see: any factual disproving of Wise's claims? nope. Detailed critical analysis of the arguments wise brings up? nope. Just vitriolic denial based on thinly veiled discomfort @ the subject of Race (a social construct). I think I, on behalf of other BLACKS like me, have more of a right to speak about what we "do and do not" think.

    Thanks.

  • @whoo689 How could he say such nonsense? It's called research! He has the HISTORY of this country to back him up!

  • This guy is wonderful. He gets it. Thanks for posting.
