@wog4lyfe01 the smoke was a product i actually bought online for testing HVAC units. it's a white powder that is packed, so just re-pack it into a smaller cylinder and you'll get a thinner stream and can control how much is used each test (because once this stuff starts burning, it won't stop. and my fan is behind the diffuser in the aft of the tunnel. you could put it before the contractor, but it'll create lots of unnecessary turbulence that you'll have a tougher time smoothing out.
i just used some plexiglas for the test area, sheet metal and a wooden frame for the diffuser, a 12V car radiator fan, computer power supply, and that's about it. the smoke was a chalky chemical that when burned, produced smoke, not the best way, but it worked well enough
Thank you for replying! Reason im doing a science project where i got to build one of these... but thanks for some ideas. (dont worry i not gonna rip off your design ;P
Obviously hopeless aerodynamics. This puppy needs smaller thinner tires, enclosed wheel wells, a smooth body, a smooth bellypan, and a boat tail. It would be a larger, cheaper car with a higher top speed and better gas mileage. Congress should mandate aerodynamic vehicles. If we all drove aerodynamic cars there would be no oil shortage and we wouldn't need middle eastern oil.
Very Nice Solution
