This tutorial seems to be pretty useful but for some odd reason when I tried to seperate the sprites by using the free transform tool it wouldn't let me select just one, and it just made the entire sprite sheet move. Also I dunno if I missed it or not, but how do you get rid of the color that the sprite sheets tend to come with.

um there is a trick you can do in GIMP that can remove the background by its color, but just remember that it can cause problems by removing that color on the sprites!

Open it up in something like fireworks and click the green BG with the magic wand tool. You will see ant lines crawling arround the sprites, press delete on the keyboard and the bg dissapears. save changes and it will have a clear BG

Right click the BG after Tracing it, an Cut it. simple.

Make sure you are not in a Symbol editing screen. You can tell by the little blue arrow up top, left. If its clickable, click it, then do the keyframes bit. Otherwise, if failed, I'll have to get more descriptive of details with your problem, PM it to me.

yes, but hypercam is bad frame rate. i bet their is a way of copying newground videos with almost perfect framerate and quality. i plan to upload it on there and copy it as a .avi then upload to youtube. its going to be one of the best sonic sprite movies made on youtube. yup, a big project.

I tried cutting the frames of the sound layer and pasting it into a separate presentation, but when I tested it it was as if I pasted it from the beginning of the sound file. hard to explain. but any help would be much appreciated.

Moveieclips? They do it on their own.Theres a setting in the Control Tab I think to Loop Movieclips when u press enter but otherwise they do it on their own.

custom Sprite Sheet(Use Paint for this)

2)Save as BMP file,import into library in Flash an trace that,cut,Convert'em and there you go.Thas my basic Steps.

Use the Free Selection tool (the Black mouse tool) to highlight a full box around the Sprite/Image.Otherwise thats uncommon an I cant help,maybe your P.C just has a lil Error.

If anything save,close an Load.See if it werks then.
