Good continuity and adverts including Canderel and Center Parcs. Mr Bean was one of all time favourite shows.

Oddly enough, re. the Canderel ad, I had actually seen 'The Nutcracker' at the Royal Festival Hall two days before this went out! One of those v/os that gave John Peel a lot of financial freedom to support defiantly uncommercial music, of course.

The Beecham CoughCaps v/o must be one of the last to use the original RP pronunciation of "medicine". At this point, New Year in England was still so associated with Scotland that Taggart was always shown for a few years after Hogmanay shows went.

I loved how Mr. Bean made his debut on the very first day of the 1990's. Definitely one of my all time favourites. Would be good to see the junction into the start of the episode.

I used to love that Center Parcs advert, the music on it was so beautiful and it sounded so dreamy!

Same here. Also, I could only remember part of it and until I came across this ad collection I couldn't even remember if it was CenterParcs or not - that really bugged me.
