  • Very convincing! Anything for a buck! Couldn't have expressed it better myself.

    Sam

  • Americans for Prosperity is right on the money. Perhaps a different choice of actors would have been better suited but great none the less.

  • I wish I had enough money to donate to AFP

  • where's Larry David

  • If one listens only to Al Gore and the mainstream media, he will undoubtedly believe the GW scare tactics. Don't let yourself be so easily fooled. If you explore further and do some reading on this issue, I think you'll be surprised. If you refuse to look at the other side of this debate, then doesn't that mean you are afraid of what you might find and don't want to be confused with the facts?

  • Whadda buncha shit.

  • As one of the terrifying pinko commie liberals that seem to make you right wingers piss your pants with fears of "teh socialism," I have to say I absolutely love this ad.

Please, continue using an angry, obnoxious, obese moron whining at the audience to sell your unscientific, GW-denying message!

(If you can get around to it, could you also do an anti-Evolution one? The creationists have managed to confuse a few too many uneducated school board members, and I'd like to see that reversed.)

  • Look, the guy is an actor! You have no idea what he actually thinks about the issue. It's a measure of his skill that he convinces you to think this way, though.

  • No doubt. I was a Democrat before I saw this.

  • Ok so I guess your not David, never mind. Have a nice life. Bye!

  • @drama131313131313 And now you're an "Idiot."

  • infamousmom,

Of COURSE he's an actor. I was clearly talking about the whole concept--using an angry, obnoxious obese moron whining at the camera as the pitch man for your organization--and addressing the people who made the video, came up with the concept, wrote the script, etc.

I wasn't even judging the actor; though, considering your effusive praise of him, it must be said that it takes no great skill to play a fat, whiny bastard. Any five-year-old can do a good job of that, too.

  • Yes, you've definitely proved that.

  • "Yes, you've definitely proved that."

HAHA, speaking of five-year-olds. "I know you are, but what am I?" Try being a little more creative. XD

  • Thanks for your comments. You're right, he is an actor--and he's my uncle! He told me to look up this ad on youtube--said I'd get a kick out of all the people bashing him for this ad. Thanks again for trying to inject some common sense here : )

  • You don't make any mature points in your message, you only say the ad's lack of credibility depends entirely on its "spokesman" rather than its content. I think the content of the ad is preposterous, but it'd still be preposterous if Brad Pitt were the actor in it. Try discussing the issue the way an adult would and people won't be chuckling so much at your juvenile indignation.

  • I just saw this as on tv and it made me very uneasy. I support the overall message. But the way they did it was just obnoxious.

This man comes off as very angry. I worry about his health. I am sure he is on a blood pressure or cholesterol medication. Instead of spewing this crap out of is mouth, he should instead put something healthy back in it. like delicious veggies.

  • I have it on the best authority that the man in the ad is an actor. And a very good one, too, obviously.

  • Is that you David?

  • No... but I know him well. :)

  • 5 FUCKING STARS!!!!!
