@brunaxloveyouX heh yeah it's just a cultural quirk of Japan. nudity isn't seen as anything immediately sexual, it's just the human body and nudity can be artistic and represent purity... where American audiences have been trained to think OMG NAKED BOOBS NAKED BUTT OMGWTF ISTHISPORN.
but if you actually draw any details (like nipples) it supposedly means you're paying too much attention to the nudity and crossing the line into maybe-sexual-type-of-thoughts.
@brunaxloveyouX oddly the same is true even for guys... no shirtless guy in the show has nipples.
with one exception though... they were drawn on Fisheye when he removed his shirt, because he was intentionally trying to be dramatic and weird and freak people out, so they were drawn to help get that effect.
makes me wonder what Japanese people of that one Batman movie where they were included as part of the bat-suit, must have been extra weird for them to see it
I'm gonna ask this even though I've never watched these episodes but when all the sailor scouts and Darien come back how come I don't see Mini Moon? I thought she died to. lol
@marcusburscough This is the 7th Season of SailorMoon. Mini Moon went back to the future in the 5th season, then appeared for a bit in the 6th, but then went back home again. She doesn't appear in this season. x3
to be honest, I really don't like how they used that as a cheap storytelling device. Chibiusa should only disappear if Mamoru is gone permanently... and even then, the entire R series confirmed that everyone is alive in the future.
just keep her trapped in a mirror or something like that... silly time travel gimmicks out of Back to the Future or Star Trek don't need to be mixed in.
@bobdonda I will admit the time thing does confuse me, but I think the point Takeuchi is trying to make is that the future can be changed. When the R arc of the manga comes to pass, Neo-Queen Serenity is using the same scepter that Sailor Moon does in that arc, even though later on, Neo-Queen Serenity gives Sailor Moon a new scepter to use. At the end of the Stars arc, when everyone's star seeds were taken and Mamoru was thrown into the Cauldron, Chibiusa disappeared as well.
@balletslippers91 hmm. I have to wonder if she was specifically making a point like that, as opposed to just using the Back to the Future gimmick of someone fading away.
It would be really nice if she was, and if that's supposed to hint that the future experienced by Sailor Cosmos can be changed or avoided. The manga ending has always bothered me...
I hope one day she'll finally explain what she exactly had in mind when she wrote that ending.
Chaos is a being of hatred and evil, emotions that never disappear.
Even if you were to purify the hearts of everyone, those feelings would rise again.
But just as there is despair, there's hope to counter it. In the end, Sailor Moon makes Cosmos understand that she was the light that would drive away the new darkness, and she would do that by fighting with all her power and not by running from her destiny.
@kztar621 I understood that much. What I want to know is... is the future battle with Chaos inevitable? Is it a certainty that Chaos will destroy much of the galaxy (probably including the sailor senshi, who would not let Usagi give up if they were alive)?
And it only says she returned to continue the fight. Did she win? At what cost? What happened afterward, was anything even left? It said that Chaos had already destroyed so much, even if Cosmos won there's hardly anything left.
@kztar621 IMO the future battle, and near-destruction of the galaxy, seems very likely to be unavoidable. Usagi specifically chose not to change the timeline, regardless of the consequences.
I would love to know if this is correct. And if so.. just give me an ending. Anything. Maybe a happy "Usagi wins, everyone was reborn from the Cauldron", or having her delay the battle to another generation like Serenity did, or even Chaos winning after a very long battle. Non-endings kill me.
@marcusburscough Well, she did die in the series. But that's because Darien ''died'' as well and as one of them dies (Serenity or Darien) then Chibi Moon doesn't exist. When they all came back, the future did exist and Mini moon came back to the future.
@MissCocoIsGek This is getting nitpicky I know, but in the anime at least Chibiusa wouldn't have died. Everything during the Galaxia arc is a part of her father's past... he did come out alive at the end of it. The Stars series doesn't affect the future moon.
In the future, Chibiusa is happily living with her parents and would never be aware of anything that happened during Stars, unless Usagi chose to tell her those stories.
The manga, of course, is a completely different story.
@marcusburscough well in the manga if i remember correctly she goes back and darien and serena get married and then serena says she feels a star was just born, implying shes pregnant with rini
@DarkAngelGoddess89 I'm pretty sure she did showed up at the very end, when Darien reappeared (not shown in this video...* I'm actually very sure of it - I remembered all the Scouts/Soldiers being there; Mini Moon included..., right.?? >=v
ugh.! Im gonna do some searching n come back w/ an answer for everybody =D
I really, really love SM - can u tell.? ^.^ brb..**
@DarkAngelGoddess89 Chibi Moon went back to the future right after Nehelania was defeated. She never came back the rest of the season, and never got her star seed taken by from Galaxia.
@DarkAngelGoddess89 What this video seen is from the present and Chibi Moon went back to the future as what she said in the anime..I think it was said during SailorMoon Super S Episodes

@bobdonda Me, too! Even though the manga ending was really happy, the Sailor Cosmos aspect made it bittersweet.

Even if you were to purify the hearts of everyone, those feelings would rise again.
