I'm a huge Mustang fan but I took a ride in an 04 goat today and honestly it would EAT the 2010 GT. The goat might not look as pretty or sound as good but it will tear up a Mustang. I would love to see the 6.0L GTO run against a 2011 GT. Great car!

The '04 GTO's are rated at 5.3 seconds 0-60 but from what I have seen in real life they are slightly faster than that.
The '05-'06 GTO's are rated at 4.7 0-60 but it's close.
Most people think the 6.0 GTO's kill the 5.7 GTO's but from what I have seen at the track they are pretty close stock for stock with the 6.0 slightly winning. Many times the 5.7's win.
Yeah, the same motor with more HP than the Mustang GT in the GTO with it's independent rear suspension that is miles ahead of the ancient solid rear axle in the Mustang which dates back to the horse and buggy days of yore. Talk about old tech.

@atomicshark the only reason for puts solid rear axles in mustangs still is because they can handle a LOT more power than a IRS. thats why a lot of people with cobras change them out. besides, the other reason they do it is because mustangs are more mod worthy than GTO's. pontiac is gone, no one cares about GTOs anymore. everyone sold them for the the 5.0. get wrecked.

Dude, how does a 205HP V6 Mitsu that does 0-60 in 7.5 sec. keep up with the GTO? Heck, my old 2000 Accord V6 did 0-60 in about 7 seconds and that car did not come close to my GTO.
Don't get me wrong, I love the first and second gen Eclipses, but once Mitsubishi went grand tourer with the funky third gen V6 they lost their way. At least they have the EVO. Too bad they don't drop the EVO's driveline into the current Eclipse.
@tonydayna your eclipse couldn't keep up with shit! I got a modded GTP and a few days ago raped a 99 or 00 eclipse ( 3 car lengths by 60 ), and my car runs neck and neck with GTO's. So there is no way in hell you are keeping up with this GTO.

According to GM the 6.0L A4 can do 0-60 in 4.6 sec. and the 5.7L A4 is supposed to be 5.4. Either way I can't complain!
