Maplestory takes LOTS of grinding & the market is way out of control. Hackers run the servers. It's only a matter of time before you become a victim. When Resistance Patch came out in Dec 2010, thousands of players lost their accounts due to shoddy security by Nexon. Their customer service sucks, the GM's are overloaded & bans are not that frequent. Reports are tedious to fill out on bans.

Eventually, you'll get backhacked & lose your work. My suggestion is not to bother playing.

I really hate it when a new game uses some of the features of other popular games as inspiration and expands on these features with its own innovation yet because of this, people call it a "copy" or a "clone". I understand demanding originality but at least give it a chance.

@semorerox Are you connected to the Internet? If you are connected and you have the same problem, try closing all intact (open) applications and then reboot the game. Sometimes applications like the Internet or programs that have to do with the internet interfere with the game. Hope that helps. ^^
