Burgers aren't deep fried. They are grilled, and McDonalds has never used lard. Lard is rendered pig fat. That would make McDonalds off limits to Jews and Muslims. They used to use beef tallow before the anti-saturated fat campaign got going then changed to vegetable oil. Now that we know it's the hydrogenated vegetable oils that are bad for you, I wonder if they will go back to what they were using before. I live in one of the top three fat cities in America, and was name number one for being the fat city in America two years in a row. I can tell You this, if they bring the Teriyaki Burger to America, more people would spent their money at McDonald's, instead of going to Wendy's or Jack in Box or even Burgar King or even Whataburger. I tried one of those Mega Teriyaki burgers...All it is: two sausage patties smothered in teriyaki sauce, and made in the same style as the Big Mac.

It's pretty good, if tangy & sweet. McDonald's here in America should make this a breakfast item...It would sell like hotcakes--Ha ha ha, pun intended.
