Many people really got into poker after the moneymaker win. However i consider the 2004 wsop the best coverage for espn and best series. Great Omaha, Razz, Stud, and the main event was very interesting. Great year for poker.

Besides all the tells, it's a limped pot, so it's unlikely Murphy has more than a J, and if he does have an Ace, it likely won't be strong enough to stack off with. Basic poker... Raymer makes a good play, but it doesn't work.

Raymers 25k call makes no sense based on the cards alone but you can see he's going on a read as Murphy's composure gives him away as he breaks every tell sign rule in the book - staring at raymer with intent,splashing the pot etc. He'd have to lie down to look any weaker.
