I guess im just selling some newer fans short assuming that they don't know Yamato was Sparda's first as it's introduction in DMC1 was quite insignificant

@Spelonker lol yeah it took me ages to pass Dante think he's probably one of the strongest if not strongest bosses in the game :) I quite like that they made up for not been able to play Dante much by making his A.I and strength great :)what's your opinion on the new Dante do you think Ninja Theory have damage the series ?
I think Ninja Theory need to shut down their studios and make a public apology for ruining a much loved character. Then Capcom needs to explain what they're thinking/smoking. I know this game is going to be marketed to hell and back come release date, but I hope people have the common sense not to buy it.

@Blackshadow666able I'm with you man I think the Vergils son story is bullshit but Sanctus did say that he carried the "blood" of Sparda and it is pretty evident that the arm began way before he ever met Dante. Thats why he has a sling, his shoulder got injured by an Assault. Either way getting attacked doesn't give you Sparda's blood so either he is related to Sparda somehow or Sanctus doesn't know what he is talking about which would make more sense tbh.
