@jdogg288 I hope no big record company signs her actually, she deserves more than that, many artists feel completely ripped off by the big companies and the ones signed to some small ones get the same exposure and more proceeds. She deserves the money from the melodies she creates, not someone who advertises it. I probably shouldn't say that since I'm starting college for the music industry in August but it's what I've gathered from many bands I've talked to.

If you think this cover sounds like any pop or r'nb' song, what does the original sound like to you? Because to me, the original sounds like the same "poppy" tripe that's overplayed on the radio every single day. This cover offers more depth in the melody, and there is no overdubbing and audio enhancement tricks to compromise the song's integrity. To me, this cover offers a far bolder artistic interpretation than the original.
