Why do people who hate the upc go to a upc youtube site and watch video's This does not make any sense. I have no interest at all in going to a trinity church youtube site. I spent 32 years in those churches and would never return again. Once I got the Holy Ghost I felt the real power of Jesus.

Charismatic is more along the lines of Benny Hinn or anything you find on TBN. This is just a service of people excited about going to Heaven. Not every service is a jumping, dancing, shouting, praising, singing, ect.

I was an Atheist most of my life before God healed me, and filled me with His Spirit, so I can give you a shadow of that belief. Atheism believes that when you die, that's it. Just darkness, no thoughts, nothing. No heaven or hell, just darkness and no more thoughts, plainly nothing. But God healed me in a way no man could, nor was it by chance. I should have scars, but God healed them quickly. It was something that got me believing, saved and born again.

These days, today, are the last days. The number of those who are pentecostals since 1900 to now, compare it to everyone since creation.

As long as u obey Acts 2:38 God 's plan of salvation, it don't matter what u call yourself. But Pentecost is one of Israel feast days that mean 50th day after the passover. It was the day that God started the church. We call ourselves Pentecostals because we got that same Holy Ghost experience that they received on the day of Pentecost. Being filled with his spirit is the most important thing. Jesus is soon to come.
The Holy Spirit does not fall on us like it did in the 1st Century.....i want to c the spirit fall on u & then watch u speak German, Chinese, Japanese.....but u wont, bc u take the verse out of context....it was a gift given to the apostles...not us
Acts 2:17 says God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh in the Last Days. As far as I'm concerned, it's still the last days. Acts 2:39 says it's to everyone even those afar off, as many as God calls. No where does it say it was only for the Apostles of the first century. There are other places in Acts that other people who weren't the apostles received the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues. If the Bible says not to forbid tongues, why do you forbid it?
the Holy Spirit DOES fall on us the same as is did on the Day of Pentecost! it says it is for as many as God shall call. i know a couple...the man was from nigeria, and the woman was american, they got the Holy Ghost in my church, and she started speaking in tounges first, and it was HIS native language. he understood everything she said. and that caused him to believe and also recieve the Holy Ghost. why do you say it cant happen, when the Bible says ALL things are possible with God?
Amen. I have heard many similar stories from really close friends of mine. I think that is so awesome! Not only did they speak in tongues on the Day of Pentecost, but there are other recorded times in the Book of Acts that state that those who received the Holy Ghost, like Cornelius, spoke in tongues. And no where does it say in the Bible that they never spoke in tongues, nor anywhere in the Bible does it say it's not for today. As far as I'm concerned, we are still in the Last Days.

I've been to one of these upc church services visiting and as the members danced and shouted and hugged and shouted, we were there standing like idiots, these services DO NOTHING for visitors. hey wait a minute, isn't church for soul winning?????? and not just to "tickle" the members ears? just my thought here in Southern Cal.
Well I'm sorry nobody ever did anything for visitors where you went to. They should of! Some churches in the UPCI need to do some waking up and realize that there are people who do come in and don't get noticed at all. My church is big on soul winning here in Northeast Ohio, so it's never happened here. Plus we have people who stay in the lobby for anyone who comes in during service. I'll keep you in prayer.

This church is a lot like my church. I attend First Assembly of God in Van Buren Arkansas. We are a pentecostal church who strongly believes in being full of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Sadly, many Assembly of God churches are moving away from this truth. God has blessed the POA.

I was an Atheist most of my life before God healed me, and filled me with His Spirit, so I can give you a shadow of that belief. Atheism believes that when you die, that's it. Just darkness, no thoughts, nothing. No heaven or hell, just darkness and no more thoughts, plainly nothing. But God healed me in a way no man could, nor was it by chance. I should have scars, but God healed them quickly. It was something that got me believing, saved and born again.

1tim31617, count how many people lived and died since Adam and Eve. Now compare 100 to that countless number. Also compare 300 and 400. Is that a lot? In Revelation 14, it speaks about the 144,000. Compare that to the countless number of people that lived since Creation. In Joel it's prophesied that God will pour out His Spirit on ALL flesh in the last days. These days, today, are the last days. The number of those who are pentecostals since 1900 to now, compare it to everyone since creation.

As long as u obey Acts 2:38 God 's plan of salvation, it don't matter what u call yourself. But Pentecost is one of Israel feast days that mean 50th day after the passover. It was the day that God started the church. We call ourselves Pentecostals because we got that same Holy Ghost experience that they received on the day of Pentecost. Being filled with his spirit is the most important thing. Jesus is soon to come.

Acts 2:17 says God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh in the Last Days. As far as I'm concerned, it's still the last days. Acts 2:39 says it's to everyone even those afar off, as many as God calls. No where does it say it was only for the Apostles of the first century. There are other places in Acts that other people who weren't the apostles received the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues. If the Bible says not to forbid tongues, why do you forbid it?

the Holy Spirit DOES fall on us the same as is did on the Day of Pentecost! it says it is for as many as God shall call. i know a couple...the man was from nigeria, and the woman was american, they got the Holy Ghost in my church, and she started speaking in tounges first, and it was HIS native language. he understood everything she said. and that caused him to believe and also recieve the Holy Ghost. why do you say it cant happen, when the Bible says ALL things are possible with God?

Amen. I have heard many similar stories from really close friends of mine. I think that is so awesome! Not only did they speak in tongues on the Day of Pentecost, but there are other recorded times in the Book of Acts that state that those who received the Holy Ghost, like Cornelius, spoke in tongues. And no where does it say in the Bible that they never spoke in tongues, nor anywhere in the Bible does it say it's not for today. As far as I'm concerned, we are still in the Last Days.

The only one who's perfect is our Lord and God, Jesus Christ. God didn't call us to be perfect, but to repent and turn from our sins. Those guys in your school don't sound like real christians. But you should not worry about them, for their judgment will come. Worry about yourself and your relationship with God, and everything should fall into place. If you sin, don't worry! God will forgive and He even forgets our sins. But don't let other's relationship with God affect you. Just pray for them

I've been to one of these upc church services visiting and as the members danced and shouted and hugged and shouted, we were there standing like idiots, these services DO NOTHING for visitors. hey wait a minute, isn't church for soul winning?????? and not just to "tickle" the members ears? just my thought here in Southern Cal.

Well I'm sorry nobody ever did anything for visitors where you went to. They should of! Some churches in the UPCI need to do some waking up and realize that there are people who do come in and don't get noticed at all. My church is big on soul winning here in Northeast Ohio, so it's never happened here. Plus we have people who stay in the lobby for anyone who comes in during service. I'll keep you in prayer.

This church is a lot like my church. I attend First Assembly of God in Van Buren Arkansas. We are a pentecostal church who strongly believes in being full of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Sadly, many Assembly of God churches are moving away from this truth. God has blessed the POA.
