And Nods have Bazooka, Recon Bikes and Stealth Tanks (Rocket Launcher it isn't a missile unit), I mean a lor of missile units. They also have Obelisk (in Red Alert 1 the Tesla Coin is not so strong as Obelisk) and they have Flame Tanks (AGT nightmare) and Flame-thrower that are excelents against infantry. It is more easy to complete the Nods missions than GDI missions, isn't it? And why for god sake Nod still deserve to earn in Convert Operatios the Chem. Warriors and SSM Launcher?

Give me Ion cannon - and I'll burn them 9 cages radius, in moment, when they will have never expected that. GDI stronger: Medium tanks, Cheap Mammoths. Grenader - master of run. Flamethrowers is flame yourselves.

All you people who are complaining about RTSes being 'bigger army = win', go and play Dawn of War 2. There's a high learning curve but once you've mastered it, it is great. Its more about micro-managing than any other RTS out there.

The best thing about C&C was you really needed to use strategy to take out opponents. In todays games, you just bring in that one-man army hero, and just murder everything. In C&C, you had the commando, yeah he 1 shot killed, but he also could die as easily as any infantry unit, so you had to really micro him.

Todays games, theres barely any of that, you send in your army or hero, and watch the battle play out, the stronger army wins. C&C... the stronger player and strategy wins.

I mean, sure you had cool stuff like flame thrower troops and rocket soldiers, but they weren't really viable. Though, with say Nod, they're units were cheaper/weaker then GDI's. You have to mini max those bastards.
