  • DO WHAT YOU WANT CAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE, YOU ARE A PIRATE!

  • been caught 9 times still not shut down lol what a joke go download peerblock ppl

  • ooopppss, haha.

  • SHITS THE GAGAS!

  • what if you do this downloading thing.. at a public place?

  • When I used limewire in the older days it was only to trade homemade skateboarding films.

  • I don't use limewire etc anymore I don't want trouble with legal systems.

  • Btw if this is such major problem why don't they just shut down all sites like pirate bay???

  • They shut off our Internet for illegal downloading, we then go and transfer it to our MacBooks and download at Starbucks ^_^

  • I dont get G4 anymore on my T.v

  • I think about brave heart, although this not about a women it does make me think about FREEDOM and weather people are willing to die fighting their own goverment to keep it.

  • In my opion MY goverment (US) is throwing gernades into a pressure cooker and something has to give. Its not just this but there are tons of issues and this issue is talking about taking peoples rights, again! How much is to much? People have the right to brake the law and cops the right to arrest them But a goverment shouldn't have the right to take those rights away. and if you don't agree then, you don't understand what being American, and the LAND OF THE FREE is supposed to stand for!

  • Why complain entertainment industrie makes billions of dollars.

  • LMAOOOOOOOOOO!!! musicians make 10 cents PER ALBUM!! not per song! how are WE stealing?

are you sure it isn't the men in the suits stealing ?

  • Lmao downloading is so easy now anyways you can get away with it so easy :)

  • Musicians simply have to do more live shows instead of relying on recordings for revenues. A good thing about pirating is that the artist will be known by larger audiences. Sure he/she is losing some money right now, but in the long run, it's much more beneficial.

  • actually one website has pirate stuff and he gest payed 80 cents for every download so nits technically legal but i never use it beacuse its too long and most files boke

  • will neever happen isps would loose far to much money from this wy do you think they have 1000mb brodband (not in england btw) i mean in other countrey what could they use that for really fast emails :)

  • I could see their reasoning piracy is huge. I know because I have emulators ; ), not illegally but I do use them.

  • Lol in my country even schools and companies use pirated content! :)

If they stop piracy people will just steal from the shops...

  • @TheGaruness Technically no, you would need the permission of the copyrighted material to legally post it.

  • holy shit carolina LOOKS LIKE FEMALE MISTER BEAN!!!!

  • all these artists, record companies, video game developers and so on need to make peace with the fact that people will "steal" their stuff from the internet..from the moment you download your 1st mp3 file its done...you cant go back to buying cds..besides,these people make incredible amounts of money..so i say they should shut the fuck up,be happy with the cash they make from people who DO buy their shit and stop being greedy assholes and try to get a 100% profit..how many private jets is enough??

  • youtube is watching us.......

  • A pirate is free! :)

  • @TheGaruness It depends on the license that the original works are under - even some Creative Commons licenses require approval from the original artist so your best bet is to contact the original artist/label and game company over the game for permission and if you don't hear anything from them you can try your luck and see if YouTube decides there's a copyright claim on your work or not...

  • It's a tad redundant. Files can be re-edited, re-named, encrypted, etc. The pirated materials will just be altered so it's harder to trace.

  • info must be free. or i will just use free soft shit

  • This new law is a joke and will be ignored.

  • @ihyottha You need to seek mental help

  • @ihyottha I hope there is a death penalty for all the politicians who broke the law

  • why is it not on this week?

  • Comment removed

  • while piracy is a crime, it isnt worth hunting people down and suiing them for.

you cant police the internet, just look what has happened in china. unfortunatly the uk is starting to go the same way.

  • The UK, France, and Sweden are already getting tackled by new anti-piracy laws, and Australia already censors their internet connections much like China.

Only thing is, you don't need Internet Censorship laws to maintain copyright enforcement, like whats happening in China as they never crackdown on it, but you eventually need Internet Censorship if you want to crackdown on internet piracy.

And the U.S. will eventually have to repeal the 1st Amendment if it ever wants to stop internet piracy.

  • Lol australia hasnt started censoring there internet... its just some tool in our parliament trying to enforce internet censorship but its not really working out for him :)

  • "If you're an enemy combatant caught downloading, you're OK."

    Best line ever.

  • dude her eyes are like whoa

  • People are getting jailed for downloading illegal movies and games but pedo's and child abducters get let off? this is bull shit

  • seriously. this is taking up the courts n other people's time when it could be used to find people on the run wanted, terrorists. this is just an open book for all access to anyone, anything including elephants broadcasting animal porn. it's just as bull as Bush's patriot act for police. o he has that towel on his head. he must either hav forgotten after a shower, is a fag, or is a TERRORIST!!!! get him.

  • She has crazy eyes...

  • damn this horrible our pirate world may be seeing it's very last year's i hope not paying for crappy movies is the worst and come on lower the price of v.games 65 dollars is way too much!!!

  • Atari games were 50 bones, NES game, Sega Master System. consoles minus NeoGeo.

handheld hav always been 30-40 bones a pop for a game.

  • ISO & CRACK, LOL!

  • I bet Kevin pirates :p

  • i see it failing

  • HUGE FUCKING EYES O.O

  • One more way for the government to control the net.(sigh)

  • that shit bettah not come to usa and canada

  • hahahahahahaha sucks for the uk

  • @PyroTomas i had my internet canceled but i just changed supplier

  • @Bandabydoo - who were u with before you had your internet cancelled?

  • Don't worry, they're only gonna go after dumb noobs who use torrents on unprotected systems and upload like idi0ts! Use RS, MU or any of the online storage servers, they have absolutely no right to touch you, especially if you hold premium (paid) accounts. This is because online storage companies have the responsibility to remove copyright material. If you pay for an account and the file is there, you have the right to download it until it's removed. Fuck the big, money grabbing fat-cat suits.

  • King Alistair wouldn't do that! lol...

  • wow :D

  • I have an idea, wait for the release, save your money and buy movie or game.

  • ahahah this is like science... you cannot stop it.

  • They can charge people $1000000s for file sharing, but goodluck trying to get them to pay up since they're probably single mothers or college students. That's where Extortion and Racketeering must come in sometime afterwards, after the record companies send you threats if you don't pay up the money!

  • probably single mothers? haha loaded language is fun but dumb

  • scare tactics.

  • no one's gonna get you for your poker face Kevin.

  • The queens a whore and this is a silly way to combat piracy. The sooner we get a referendum in Australia the better.

  • this is a good thing

  • damn 250,000 pounds thats almost 500,000 dollars

  • Silly law, if corporations are so worried about people downloading for free then they should make their albums, games or whatever more cost effective. This is all about greed, ok so an album costs a couple dollars/pounds to make so why sell it over a 100% mark up? Greed beyond belief and they wonder why people download for free...

  • im prepared for war motherfuckers, shove all three of your strikes up your ass.

  • This is just going to either A) make the pirate community use encryption or B) take downloading back underground...

  • @drdukes peer guardian 2 ftw

  • lol what retards do the not expect the hackers not to retaliate to the dumb fucks who try and take ther net wat fuktards

  • Start downloading everything on the internet before it becomes a felony!

  • Get Usenet and it wont take long. They probably wont know if you keep using it either. They would have to block it like some hotspots do. But there's also servers with more ports, SSL etc. I'm curious to see just how much the ISP can see and how much of the SSL and stuff actually works.

Now back to the old idea that you MUST rename files to share them instead of using "spider-man" in the torrent, nzb, or even on the server. Lots of newsgroups have gone to numbers then you goto a site 4nfo.

  • So, someone takes away your Internet. What;'s to stop you from connecting at a neighbors house, friends house, or starbucks?

  • only poor people get mad because of this antiPiracy stuff.!

  • Fuck you, do you have a problem with the poor?

  • yes, and poor people is like, 95% of america, some people wont pay like 50$ just to get left4dead2, when they need to keep that money to spend on groceries for their family.

  • that's why some people are smart and have priorities

  • thats gotta be the dumbest thing ive ever read.. your an idiot

  • FUCK ME... if this come to the US im going right to canada

  • If anything, it'll come to Canada before the US...

  • if this billl get to america, our brainy youth wil be in jail

  • Piratebay FTW!

  • @Auldyguy yay its awsome

  • yarrrg why these scalliewags be tryin to sink my ship?

  • "I don't care if I'm two strikes in, nothing's stopping me from getting my Gaga!" LOL!

  • So all the knife crime, gangs and drug runnings in the country is not getting looked into but the people who like to watch TV on their computer if they missed are getting taken out for one reason it's easier than looking for people who illegally have guns and knives!

  • Lol.

  • go peer guardian =)

  • another reason why britain sucks

  • Im from Britain and I havn't heard anything about this law until now.

  • well u have to live in the uk to know about this

  • Violation of Privacy mean anything? this bill is fucking retarded.

  • microsoft recently violated consumer privacy and destroyed their property with the recent xbox 360 banwave which left them with crippled hard drives and corrupt gamer tags.

  • mininova gone.. damn.. haha matter of time before more get taken down..

  • aww thats sad, there alot of free games right now in torrent lol

  • fuck that shit they allways(governments everwhere) trying to take shit on a global level like shit is going to be better after but its not, and what goverment worrys about piracy when people starve every fuckin day they came up wit that shit cuz they was bored fuckin haters. shout out my uk fam yall beter fight that shit out real talk

  • haha, she's soooo nervous XD

  • you killed mininova you bastards!!!!!!!!

  • Well Mininova was just brought down, if they manage to bring down all the torrent sites and servers around the world I'd be surprised...

  • England is slowly but surely becoming a police state.

What's the matter with you people? how can you let your government do this to you? take back control before you completely lose it

  • Ask someone who lives there. It already IS a police/nanny state. They would be better off going back to the old monarchy system at this point.

  • there's fuck all to do with your time over here in england.

  • Mandy's such a c0ck

  • No truly "American" leader is going to adopt something from another country, so I'm not too worried about this hitting the States

  • ill just drive down the road, use some random persons unsecure WiFi network. Download my movie, then go home. They get the letter in the mail, i get my move. Everythings great!!

  • Great idea !!

  • we are now going to realise who is going to be making stuff becose they wanna do them, and who is doing it to get rich. Cose nobody is ever gonna stop making games, music or movies. all that there is to it is that pretymuch the big conglomerades of art distribution is going to crumble really fast....

  • @garapa Ah no. No pne works for free. Belive it or not, but they're human just like everyone else, they have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

  • .. they sure do have bills to pay and mouths to feed with their millions and millions, with bank accounts big enough to keep an entire nation clothed and fed for years.

... and you take their side?

  • mininova went down today... a moment of silence plz....

  • hardly ever used it anyway

  • wow so i can upload my copywrited stuff and sue everyone directly for downloading it ...cool :D

  • id rather see the saw puppet talk to kevin about this than that ugly chick.

  • she is so not attractive.

  • she kind of looks like chuckie

  • uglyyy

  • ever watch v for vendetta thats what the uk's turning in to

  • true dat

  • yeah but the states were there since 59

  • AMERICA FTW!!!! shit, that chick is gross.

  • damn that girl...why does she have to stare like that!!?? MAKE HER STOP!!!!

  • you could probubly get around this with a website like megaupload

  • Another reason why United State's kicks ass.

  • that girl is ugly.

  • Dont think this will work. What happens if a kid gets on his dads computer and downloads without his knowledge will they cut off dads connection? What about public connections? How would they know whos downloading.? Sounds like a lot of BS and threats to make it look like something is being done.

  • ISP knows what torrents you're downloading, always.

  • not if you have decent encyption

  • Lady's eyes stealing your soul every second

  • The UK is slowly becoming Big Brother. 1984 here we come!

  • trust me, nothings stoping me from geting my gaga hahahahahaha

  • man that girls looks like shes about to eat my soul, then rape me and my dog

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Haha! That teen kid who's trying to download his Panic! at the Disco album is me! Nice one Kevin!

  • well best bet is, Share files at free wifi places and unless they block every site out there that u can access downloads that law is only going to hurt the users who hardly get movies and music off the net. Someone who actually does that as a Major pastime would be able to get around that issue.

Hell i can watch TV from Japan UK China 5 min after its out over there <3 Shareware Utorrent Veoh tv and more. G4 rocks thanks for the info i missed that Episode

  • with wireless hotspots how on earth can this be enforced as someone can use your Internet service to download whatever and you get bundled with the lawsuit or ISP disconnection ?

  • scary shit that they might soon put a stop to piracy on the internet but it's far from doing that in canada or america. People will always share files uncontrollably on the internet and its impossible to catch them without breaking their privacy rights unless you download a tracked file that they put out their to catch illegal downloaders but if you are too stupid to read comments on files (ex. The Pirate Bay) and see that its safe and legit then stop downloading

  • damn that bitch is creepy!!!

  • copyright issues wouldn't be a problem if corporations and musicians weren't money grubbing whores.

  • Actuality Musicans only make about 5 cents per album...

its the actual record company that makes all that money

  • yea i know i was mainly aiming toward the record comapanies but there is the rare case where the musician flips out... example Lars Ulrich

  • Canada. The land of the FREE.

  • YEA i got worried when they said it might come here .... then i realized it was the states

  • wow if they pull this off there good think of it if this law passes out the music industry will go down because of illegal downloading ppl get to kno about the artists and if they get this law into usa and uk ppl will riot and ppl will go against it and some ppl wil disconnect their internet and stuff these assholes dont kno the risks of what they are doin they could start a world war3 because of this shit(i kno im a dumbass im 15 XD)

  • if they stop file sharing, ISPs will lose lots of people.. and lots of money.. ISPs don't want to police the net, they are being forced into it.

  • doesn't someone see a problems with law makers focusing on the entertainment industry and piracy when they should maybe be, say catching bad guys like petifiles or murderers?.

  • cause they think its better to focus on the things that they believe would make them money, rather than focussing on that which will mean them losing it on building prisons and providing meals and hot showers for new inmates. it's all about the money.. that money money.

  • so just that i understand, i get 3 strikes. i move to another house that i rent and im fine and the person that goes into my old house is screwed?

    what if i change provider?

theres somuch wrong with this 'law' i cant even start about it

  • lol um no that wouldnt make sense... for you to even think that makes me wonder... how?... anyway... the customer gets banned.. not the house itself.

  • its just what confused me, so what if i get banned and my roommate then signs a contract? or what if my roommate would download 'pirated' stuff and get me banned. am i response able for that too?

they need to clear up alot more if this is supposed to work

  • i understand where you're coming from... but im sure it wont be that complicated.

  • Her Face Is Shiny ;)

  • It is shiny

  • if this happens in the u.s all its going to do is make things worse by over flowing the jails and prison then there gonna wanna make more jails and prisons which is going to make the economy shit more fucked up but dont listen to me cuz im just a dumb 16 year old that cant do shit and yah ive downloaded songs illegaly so who gives a fuck they were songs that i already had he cd for

  • lol if you have a basis of computer networking it wont be hard to get aroudn it.

  • god i hate niggers!!

  • in soviet russia niggers hate you

  • Please do not use the word "God" in your stupid hate comments.

  • Your right, "God" could offend people who worship all types of deities. I prefer "Jesus", angry Christians are so funny...

  • yo theres no reason to call blacks niggers how would u like it if made a racist comment toward wat ever race u are

  • I'm white. Make your racist remark.

  • i dunno any lol but still no need to be callin ppl niggers

  • Care to explain?

  • 'Cause every time theres a thing about another country they make some malicious jab at the nation in question

  • its fucking comedy, get over it

  • gO OBAMA

  • wow your stupid why do you like him....he is shit just like the last president(s)

  • getalife

  • We as the children of the net exist beyond such small laws. you can not regulate us, we are the net.

  • wait, what about the ISP? If the ISP's are cutting off all of these people, that's gonna be less revenue for them... I can see a bunch of ways this could backfire...

  • if that really takes effect

    woot internet cafe's ahahahahahaha

  • or libraries with internet. lol.

  • i'm english and didn't even hear about this , and to be honest i really dont give a fuck, mainly because a lot of isp's over here have refused to vut off people cos of lack of sales lawsuits and shit like that , our government is one great big clusterfuck , they get nothing right , and the queen is talking about shit she knows nothing about VIVE LA TORRENTS

  • the queen doesn't even know how to use a search engine

  • does she even know what one is
