having had dealings with other non white  communities i find that there is a criterion for belonging. if u step outside the established boundaries ur dealt with. my friends in college were asians middle easterners and africans. and there was no peerson who was allowed to do what they wanted to do.

As I said before, I live in Toledo where there are 20 black churches within a 5block radius. This community is the most violent, most concentrated with crack, most forclosure, most missinformed community.

Please come to my favorites and whitness the TOledo Riot of October 2006. I was there with many ministers and Gangleaders marching peacfully when the target was not us but our children in the gangs. We were trick'd into defending ourselves. This is the black unity I know 10th poorest in USA!

Of course there is unity in the black community, however I still believe that it takes a village to raise a child; and sometimes I feel like our village is dying. It shouldn't take huricanes, police brutality, or even the chance of there being a black president to bring us together. I'm hoping, praying and fighting to keep our village alive.
