What should I do to make it drop the hook at the right time?

for some reason my lara refuses to make the jump at 2:48 i have tried as hard as i possibly can but lara wont grab onto the upper ledge. its pissing me off. could there be a glitch in my copy of the game or something. i have jumped as far and as high as i possibly can but she wont grab on to it!!!

I'm having that same problem with the wall run. I'll run all the way, then I push the controller back, and then she falls instead of jumping back. I've done this move on other levels and I've got by on the first try. This is the same thing as that swords level in Greece.

while on the fully right side (wallside) hold stick downwards and than jump and quickly press Square? (the button you see appear when there is a grab for cable)

now lara is just facing the wall and falls right down and die.

I'm a TR fan, but angel of darkness failed a little bit, I can understand why Eidos fired Core Design. Anyway I don't say it totally suck.

but, I can't wait till TR Underworld (for the Wii) =D !!!

Yes, need start running from a bit left before u jump, then Lara doesnt lose balance. I'm so happy i could do it!

Nah... I did it yesterday... I can't remember how I did it... I had to jump a totaly different way, like towards a corner so she'll go strait, wierd.

I had the exact same problem, don't remember how I manage to got through this, but it sure gave me a hard time!

Every time i do the part at 5:04 I either lose my balance on the last perch and get smooshed, or she jumps on it then just walks off... wtf is that?!
