Wow! FANTASTIC tutorial! Thanks so much for this. I love this tune and finally have the right chord voicings. I can't thank you enough! Keep pickin' and edjamakatin', too!
thanks so much for your kind post and checking out the video - this remains maybe my fave DB tune! I hope you enjoy playing it and all the best with your music!
Great tune... great sound! Really loved your tutorial on this and other Doobie stuff. Any chance you could tackle The Doctor... it is aparently tuned down an octave or something, cant get it. Keep it up, Love it!
hello David....thanks for your kind words - greatly appreciated! I've been asked about that tune before...i'll be giving it a new listen. All the best,
thanks for your kind feedback and taking time to watch! The guitar is a Collings 360 - mah with a maple top, the board is rosewood - i'm playing through a Headstrong Lil King with 1x12. Thanks for your kind words on the tone - all the best with your music,
Excellent work Bro! Thanks for the lesson. Our 40 Somethin Band (we're all 50 plus now except for two) will work this one up for next year. Thanks again
thanks for checking out the video - this is one of my 'all time' favorite tunes and i'm glad you could use the video - all the best with your playing,
Wow. I could never play a guitar even if I had a thousand years to learn. Love this song, and I could listen to you play it straight through (no breaks) all day.
if you think you can't you wont be able to play guitar . but if you get a guitar and try and comit to at least 15 minutes practice a day in no time you'll be able to learn few songs. this site is really good for learning song and there other that can take you what's a guitar to learning the song on this site with a little practice short
dude someone pointed me in your direction. south city midnight lady is one of my all time faves.thanx so much for the lesson and NOW another park another sunday. keep it up. i'll be checking your site out. thanx again so much. i haven't touchd my les paul for a month now
not the way i learned it. the version i know never sounded right, and required a little of fill from a third axe man. i just never could put it together in my head. thanks for the visual.
Hey Dale! Thanks for a great afternoon of homework..... which I did on my Wechter guitar in Central Park and on a Sunday! But seriously, this was a fantastic lesson. Appreciate it. It's such a great tune!
Dale, I really want to thank you for posting this. This is my favorite my second favorite DB song (next to South Central Midnight Lady) and it's nice having someone demonstrating how to play it the right way. I haven't had this much fun playing in years. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
thanks so much for your very kind words and i appreciate you checking out the videos. What a great band and i'm with you on this being in my top two or three DB faves with a lot of good one to choose from! All the best,
hello....thanks for allowing the video response. I really enjoyed your version - you can actually sing the vocal!! Just great to hear you do one of my all time fav DB tunes. Hope all is good and all the best with your music,
i love the Doobies and wish i had time to work on their whole library!! That is a great tune - i'll be giving it a listen. Thanks for watching and i hope all is good,
As usual you didn't dissappoint me .. That also is one of my favorite Tom Johnston Songs . Great Tone on that Guitar . What kind is it ? I recognize that fact that the Inlays aren't the standard trapezoids inlays .
Have you thought about doing an Instructional for Larry the Two Step Logger? A slow down would be fantastic for an instructional .
Or Busted Down OMalleys Corners from The Captain and Me Album would be great also instructionally.
Thanks.... I always thought the Doobs had the best chord arrangements!

many THANKS...love the drone thingy
what is your axe/amp/rig?
looks like ebony with maple top...but how do you get it so warm with those HARD woods....most instruments with that combination are SO clangy...
yours is definitely not...at least at this low volume.
Thanks again...I really appreciate your tutorials
