Okay you're an amazing saxophone player but i don't think that's material that they are looking for. You are AMAZING but i mean some parts weren't in the right key and it sounded a bit too rough and jazzy. But still... you are extremely good at sax and keep up the good work.

Dude. Ur mega boss at this. but lets face it. the saxophones were made in the early 1800s to fill out the sound of the cello in symphony orchestra. they are one of the youngest instruments in the world and can rarely be used in orchestral music. You're DEFINITELY first chair material, but I don't see you getting into orchestra unless they need you.... I know its a bummer. I wanted to be in orchestra, at my school, but they wouldnt let me cus i play alto... Its super gay.

Okay well the improv fit horribly with the track, usually I would praise your playing but you made your sound too "in your face" growly. But nonetheless a good solo, just didn't fit the music. :)

Most of your solo clashed horribly with the track. Either you're in the wrong key, or you're crazy out of tune. And there really wasn't a flow. Just gibberish.

it was good, but too growly. this isn't jazz or rock & roll, it's classical music. This pretty much summarizes why saxophones aren't in symphony orchestras :/

Well, not really. There are classical saxophonists who play with tones suitable for classical ensembles and there are jazz/rock/etc saxophonists who don't. This guy is the latter. Search "classical saxophone" for plenty of examples of the former.

A bit too dirty and gnarly for the music but you're still pretty kickass. I might suggest listening to Michael Brecker for inspiration; he had a really flexible tone and I've learned quite a few licks from his many solos. Hope you make it.
