ok,, I watched this 2 years ago and was asking people if they had tabs on this version... no one had them, so then I gave up on playing this version, and now 2 years later my guitar skills have greatly improved and I can play this song easily! I love it when singers don't hold back just because it's an acoustic performance. It bugs me when I'm listening to a live/acoustic version of a song, and they mellow down the vocals. A lot of times my favorite part of the song is the power and passion behind the voice, and when they take that away.. it just kinda sucks. So this is cool. =]

@Vazquez100... The strings have nothing to do with the sound he is getting, the guitar he has is an acoustic-electric. His sound is coming from the amount of DRIVE he has through his amp. Although I would recommend D'Addarrio EXP strings. These sound really good, and have a longer life.

Well, most of the bands I listen to sound great live too. However, this is just unbelievable. Chris actually sounds exactly the same live and in the studio album minus the audio fx used the pre-chorus. Even the scream, only a bit quieter.

It's one thing to sound good live, another to just be too good to be edited.

if your having trouble learning the guitar part, its Drop D or Db ( half a step down drop D) and there are many tabs for it out there... the picking part is the easiest... its the chorus rhythm thats hard. its in the way you strum it, just keep trying with the song in mind u'll get it.

I believe the tuning is drop D flat ( which is the same as C sharp). Just tune to drop D then tune everything down a half step.

i,ve been playing it in drop c. i have a tab for it if you want it, just message me. however, the guitarist (simon) plays this on a seven string both live and in the recording. and if i am correct, when he plays it with the seven string, it is in standard tuning.
