  • wow they actually gayyy. ..hhahahaha

  • love these three aha :p

  • It was pretty ironic when they declined doing a movie in space and the ad for Paul on DVD was the ad next to the video.

  • hot fuzz best british comedy ever !

  • My Name Is Emma.

  • ask yourself . why has he got his hat pulled down like that ?

    hes fuck ugly

or he doesnt want us to look at his face

    cause hes fuck ugly. XDXDXD

  • The direction of hot fuzz, Shaun of the dead and Scott pilgrim were all awesome. The cinematography was a amazing. Go Edgar wright!

  • I love these guys, and Hot Fuzz is my favorite movie so far in my life. And it's weird, I watch Nick Frost and he seems like the least incredible of the three, yet at the same time, I can't see Simon Pegg without him. I love Pegg, but I know that he is always at his best with Nick at his side. How can I describe this......Nick just seems like a great guy you want to be around as much as possible.

  • your so lucky, you got to meet simon pegg!

  • Edgars' laugh sounds like a polite fake laugh xD

  • This trio needs to make another film. I think Hot Fuzz is one of the best comedies every made.

  • @EYESCUM simon and nick have a new film out called paul

  • @reddste I know. But it's not with Edgar Wright. They need to make another set in Britian film.

  • Shaun of the dead is his best Movie

  • @Jr7384 I think the movies he makes just get better and better.

    So Shaun<Hot Fuzz<Scott Pilgrim

But I really liked Spaced too.

  • Great interview. Edgar Wright is a joy to listen to as are the other guys, and great interviewing! It's nice to see a level of depth and sincerity from an interviewer these days.

  • @MajorTinfoil thanks for the kind words! These guys are always fun to talk to. I can't wait for their next project together, whatever it may be.

  • EDGAR WRIGHT IS A GENIUS!!!!!

  • Nicks getting bigger D;

  • honestly this is the best comedy i've seen

  • This film is not a parody of Michael Bay as it is a parody of all U.S. buddy cop flix. I get the interviewer does not quite get British humor and they are being tolerant of his lack of understanding. He seems like the typical American guest on 'Top Gear' or 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks'...just a step behind the conversation and not for a lack of intellect as much as the cultural differences.

  • I love how you Brits assume I don't "get" them or get British humor. I've been to the UK several times, have friends there, and keep up quite a bit with British television. I saw SPACED in the UK during its original run, as well as ALAN PARTRIDGE, and even kept tabs on British reality TV. There's no "lack of understanding" my friend. I've interviewed these 3 multiple times, we've spoken on several occasions, and we've always got along very well. Never assume to know a situation you're not in.

  • @THEBIGFANBOY Ummm...o.k.

  • I'm British, lived in the UK all my life and I don't understand why other brits are claiming this American guy doesn't get it, there is a superiority complex that many brits have when it comes to humour.

  • @ismarin Firstly, I'm not British. Flint, Michigan is as ugly as America gets and a great place to 'be from' rather than 'be'. Secondly, why are you assuming a superiority complex when my comment states " No lack of intellect as much as cultural differences". I thought I was being fairly even handed, but after leaving my comment I read the others and noticed a general consensus -the interviewer is being mocked for his dopey questions and is unaware of it. You clearly disagree. Cheers.

  • General consensus? So a few people try to find a reason to hate on this interview, and suddenly you think everyone hates me? Tell you what James, next time these guys come around, let's get you to interview them, and see how wonderful it comes out. You can show us all how it's done. I love the internet, everyone is very quick to tear someone down, even though they themselves have probably never done anything like the very thing they're criticizing.

  • @THEBIGFANBOY Please give it a rest. I have replied to you and some other shill in a even toned, inoffensive adult way. You are making a deal of this by reacting in such a childish manner. I simply reacted to what I saw when I first viewed your piece, and you obviously disagree. I applaud you for doing what you do, but you are making yourself look foolish with these quasi ad- homonym attacks. Relax Fan Guy,

  • @jamesandrew2000 Ur a douche bag.

  • @Redmist2000 You're clever.

  • @jamesandrew2000 You're a dick.

  • @Redmist2000 You're clever.

  • @jamesandrew2000 Say's the guy who is repeatedly saying "You're clever"? How old are you, six? Your a bit young to have a YouTube account.

  • @Redmist2000 You comment on something I wrote over five months ago and all you could come up with is "You're a dick". Why don't you write something that expresses in an interesting way why you disagree with what I wrote you dumbass hick.

  • A lot of people just have to find a reason to criticize. Maybe it's jealousy, maybe some form of social insecurity. I don't know. I've been doing this for a LONG time, and I've interviewed several people (including these guys) multiple times. I've always got along well with people I talk to, and I'm smart enough to know if someone is mocking me. I feel I know British humor better than most Americans, and for these people to say I don't "get" it is just silly. Thanks for your support ismarin!

  • thas funny coz u dont sound british at all no English person would call themselfs brits your commente sounded so american i find it very hard to believe your british at all either that or your a traitor good interview tho

  • I love Hot Fuzz! It's one of my favourite movies <3

Nick Frost and Simon Pegg are fantastic!

  • this interviewer is so shitty... he can't get the humour... :P

  • What exactly am I not getting? I'd love for you to tell me how to do my job. Do you think I get asked to do these because I'm bad at what I do? This is the second time I interviewed these three, and we got along great both times. We all got each other, and I totally get their sense of humor. We're throwing sarcasm back and forth. Everyone in that video gets each other, I'm not sure what you think you're hearing or not hearing. Despite your professional opinion, I think I'll be okay. Thanks.

  • oh come on, it's not like you have a degree in asking people questions, there's nothing "professional" about it, get off your horse! :) it just feels like to me that you're too frigid and they're basically taking the piss out of your questions :) no offence, but i guess it's a US-UK thingy :)

  • Never said I had a degree in it, but I've done this a LONG time, and I get asked to do interviews b/c studios like the way I do them. And when you call me "shitty", better believe I'm going to take offense. I think (and lots of others who saw this would agree) they enjoyed my questions and we were laughing TOGETHER. They're not purposely taking the piss out of my questions, despite what you WANT to believe. Tell you what, let me know when YOUR interview show is on so I can learn from a master.

  • oh come on now, you were offended that much by a word like "shitty"? :) anywho, i apologise if you felt offended, no need to get all defensive on me :) as i said, to me, having lived in the UK for 4 years, you seemed too frigid and not in the same wavelength as Simon and Nick :)

  • @sk3pt1c1ndustr13s You sir, are an ass hole.

  • person who wrote tht below me is a fanny lol

look into it before you write shit lol

  • Well Simon Pegg actually DID co-write the screenplay with Edgar Wright, and Simon and Nick are very good friends, so undoubtedly Nick was able to make suggestions while they were filming. Keep in mind these three have been working together for many years, going back to when they did the SPACED series. These guys aren't just a director and actors, they're a creative team.

  • nicely put:)

  • *Facepalm* You know nothing do you? One word, 'research', add on two more, 'Dumb Shit!'

  • @professionallynasty yea i totally agree with what Big Fanboy said...and their great at what they do...because they generally enjoy writing the films so...when simon pegg and edgar say they've wrote the screenplay...they actually mean that they've wrote it lol

  • your a total fanny lol

  • @pressionallynasty

Because Simon Pegg and Nick Frost actually wrote and did the screenplay. Along with Shaun of the Dead and Spaced. You fucking idiot.

  • @professionallynasty Because they wrote it...

  • these guys are the best, I can't wait for Paul.

  • hey jophus82 one word shut your trap!!!! you dang premodonna lol

  • Someones phone gonna go 3:50

  • Christ Edgar Wrights laugh.

  • I don't think they liked this guy nearly as much as he thought they did. It's so awkward when someone feels too comfortable with you, when they are a complete stranger.

  • Who said I thought they liked me? I've interviewed all three of them before, and Edgar and I have a mutual friend, plus I've interacted with them on multiple occassions. I never said they "liked" me, but we have shared quite a few laughs on and off camera. And what you don't see in these interviews is the before and after conversations that take place. I never presume to be "too comfortable" with someone I interview. I do however try to keep it lighthearted. Sorry if that bothered you.

  • It was just how I interpreted your body language, voice, and the dialog in general. No one said it. Chalk it up to one more asshole on YouTube.

It didn't bother me bro. If assholes could fly this would be a fuckin airport, you know? I'm just another jet-setter apparently.

  • i absolutely LOVE simon pegg!!!! i love edgar, hes a great director, nick is absolutely amazing, and simon is just a legend!!!! i adore him

  • awesome group!

  • i love those guys

  • 3:54 some idiot had their cell phone on lol

  • jediscott95 - Um, not particularly. I'm sitting in front of three very funny men, and having a good time with the interview. I apologize for showing my enthusiasm.

  • you got to met simon pegg and nick frost right? are they nice guys?or jerks?

  • Very nice guys. They really treat the fans well too.

  • Its people like this that makes us brits look amazing!! x

  • they are great...can't stop laughing...

  • 1simon and nick 2bond 3the lingo...yr speakin english.. 4tv soaps 5comedy 6 doctor who 7 robot wars 8 ricky gervais 9 dawn french 10 edgar wright Right theres a list of 10 so screw u !! :D
  • eXplicit: I got two words for you: Red Dwarf.

  • Only us Brits can do a comedy as good as Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of the Dead

  • Yeah but when americans do movies like scary movie (which was good but taken to far in some parts) its not really as good as hot fuzz and shaun of the dead because Shaun and Hot Fuzz were more serious

  • Lol, true true. They were much more convincing. I have to say, American parodies are just sad excuses... seriously (they follow the sad pattern, which I haven't seen in Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead).

I wish I was in Britain right now XD

  • I think the reason hot fuzz and shaun of the dead were so big is because britain don't do many parody movies especially like these whereas in america it is done quite alot and it is getting a bit old.

  • These movies aren't parodies, This are only For make the audience feel entertained but aren´t parodies :)

  • That is right.

  • So the scenes in hot fuzz dont make fun of Point Break and Bad Boys 2?

  • I don't think so, myself. Its more of a affectionate reference. Its not like Epic Movie or something, where while he shoots in the air a bird would fall on his face, or whatever. They take those scenes and put them into Hot Fuzz's environment, which makes them funny. Instead of trying to alter the environment of the films the scenes are from.

  • Well explained.

  • actually shaun of the dead isn't a parody. Simon insists that it's a 'zombie movie that happens to be funny' because if you think about it it's quite serious in the zombie bits, for instance they look scary, not stupid on purpose to be funny.

  • I think the seriousness adds into the humor. Zombies don't need to be stupid. The film had references to other zombie films. The title itself is based of George Romero's work "Dawn of the Dead."

Even if Simon Pegg does insists that it's a 'zombie movie that happens to be funny,' the movie appears to be a parody to many since he was pretty much influenced by Romero, hands down...

I guess that's why it seems like parody to me :)

  • @L0VED0CT0R1

Now only if your dentists can do half as good.

  • @FxckCensors Theres nothing wrong with our teeth you twat

  • @L0VED0CT0R1

    Mad.

  • @L0VED0CT0R1 lol u didn't do shit, im imagine it was a small population of brits and maybe someone else or 2

  • @jeffyjeffyjeffy If your trying to say that hot fuzz isnt a british movie and only a few brits were involved you are dead wrong, This is a 100% british movie, The director was british, the writers were british, the actors were british, the editor was british, music was a british guy, it was filmed in britian, so dont e=give me your shit about only part of the people that made it were british, your probably just another stupid american. So do reasearch before you try and insult us.

  • @L0VED0CT0R1 a small population of brits meaning .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the britsh population, YOU didn't do anything, i loved hot fuzz, so dont act all high and mighty

  • @jeffyjeffyjeffy Im not acting all high and mighty, i didnt say i did anything, i said, if you can read faggots is that only brits can make a comedy so good, meaning that everyone that made this was british and not american, it doesnt matter if its a small percentage of the population that made it ITS STILL BRITISH MADE BY BRITS IN BRITAIN. thats like saying americans cant make movies because only a small percent does, so shut the fuck up and sit down you little faggot.

  • @L0VED0CT0R1 why would i try to insult britain anyway? the only possible grudge i could of against britain is the whole american revolution thing

  • @L0VED0CT0R1

    and monty python of course!

    thanks for that XD

  • @klotzinatorinho Dude i am a brit xD

  • @L0VED0CT0R1

    yes i am not!

i meant thanks to you ^^

  • @klotzinatorinho I didnt make the movie xD

  • @L0VED0CT0R1 yea cause Brits only make good comedies...go.bang.yourself.MATE

  • yeah it's probably going to be sci-fi. most of the references in Spaced are horror, crime/psychological and sci-fi/fantasy so it would make sense. especially considering how much they love Star Wars and The Matrix :)

  • it will be a third movie with simon pegg and nick frost because , its a trilogy called the blood and ice cream trilogy (shaun of the dead, hot fuzz, ....) because in every movie its a cornetto involved , and i cant wait for the third one :-)

  • isn't it called something like "The World's End?"

  • yeah it is in 2010 i can't wait its gonna be sooooo awesome

  • damn hilarious!

  • Relationship...

    SEXY

  • i was wondering what can it be the next film of NICK FROST SIMON PEGG EDGAR WRIGHT

i hope it would be a horror comedy but not with zombies again(thats not mean that i dont love "shaun of the dead" shaun of the dead was great) i think it sould be a horror comedy with something different like one day in the office that simon and nick are employees and something going bad. like SEVERANCE but in SIMON NICK and EDGAR style

Guys i am a huge fun in all GREECE

  • i'm thinking it'll maybe be a sci-fi or summat so they can have mint (green)cornettos)

  • Hot Fuzz is the best film ever x

  • HOT FUZZ is amazing my fave film eva

  • I didnt know Nick Frost wore glassess...interesting. Him And Simon Pegg are still like my favorite actors though.. Hot Fuzz is one of the best films out (as is Shaun Of The Dead)

  • what other movies then shaun of the dead and hot fuzz have they done?

  • They've done stuff by themselves and sometimes run into each other in movies and TV shows but they've only done 2 movies together and they're making a third.

  • tyvm

  • You're welcome.

I found out a couple days ago that Simon Pegg has only done 1 movie where is hasn't worked with either Edgar Wright or Nick Frost.

  • wat about run fat boy run and how to lose frends and alienate people?

  • IndianaJonas96.

    "themanwhoknew (1 year ago). "

How to lose friends was released in late 2008.

It has been slightly over a year since Run fat boy and youtube will not update the time the comment was made until it reaches two years.

  • well, they were promoting Hot Fuzz... but in my opinion the stuff Pegg does with Edgar ad Nick is miles apart, and miles better, than what he does with any other actors or director... fat boy and lost friends dont compare to the Pegg-Frost-Wright stuff

  • yeah yur so right the simon nick and edgar stuff kicks butt :D

  • totally- being a fan of peggs since spaced i was so excited and happy for the guys wen i went to see SOTD at the cinema- there was harldy anyone there, which made me a lil sad- but then once it became a hit in th US, their popularity just rocketed, which is great! im just a lil worried we're now losing Pegg to sub-par movies he had no hand in writing, n th onlyhalf-decent hollywood movie hes been in is star trek- we coud lose Wright too, his new film is a US production- i hope its good tho :)

  • yeah exactly, i just started watching spaced the other day and i loved it. simon nick and edgar are deff the best as a duo, but i think they are all starting to do other things as well... but im still looking forward to the last installment in the blood and ice cream trilogy :D

  • they are in a tv show called Spaced together...which Edgar Wright also directed.

  • is it any good? and what channel airs it?

  • its great. more adult though i guess. i dont know what channel but this person on yotube has all the episode. their user name is belgrovian. go check it out.

  • omgomgomg!!! ty ty ty for a really really great tip.... watched 2 seasons already and im loving every second ty very much!

  • np but i think there is only 2 seasons:(.

    i constantly watch them.

  • that sucks doh... still TYTYTY! and id advice more ppl 2 og check it if they liked shaun of the dead and hot fuzz!

  • Spaced was originally aired on Channel 4, Series 1 in 1999 and Series 2 in 2001.

  • they're picking up aerican accent

  • Watch, Big Nothing. Simon Pegg = Playing an American. Does a great job too.

  • this film was ammaaaaaazing

and yeah, gay boys 2 sucked compared

  • your a twat tunisia, considering its better than any american comedy in ten years

  • i would rather watch hot fuzz 8 times than shit boys 2 once

  • uh huh but that isn't true.

  • Jog on, cunt.

  • No offense but making sequels for both movies would be totally unnecessary because. I think the only time movies should ever have sequels is when theres a cliff hanger in the first movie. It might just ruin it if they made another movie.

  • i dont think it will be another Shaun or Hot Fuzz i think they will make another but it wont be anything to do with these 2 movies

  • Wow, BlueTunisia... that's a pretty stupid thing to say. Especially since it's one of the best films I've ever seen (and not just me, my movie-obsessed friends agree). So, really, it could matter less. It could be...... you.

  • nick plays like a big kid on that movie

  • always does

  • I can't believe I still haven't seen Hot Fuzz.

  • GASP. HA, rent it

  • My name's Emma mwahahhha I'm a shotgun, Nick's shotgun!

  • wow a stupid comment.. could it matter any less?

  • I'm so jealous i wud do anything to meet them simon is so hot

  • Aw man! :o The guy on the right didn't get to give HIS one-liner (I saw the eyebrows shift up-- you forgot him! D: )

Ah well, it was mostly good. Look out for their sense of humor next time. :p

  • Um, not sure what you mean. I thought I did a good job of getting to all of them throughout the interview. And I know their sense of humor, as I've interviewed them before. What line did Nick not get to give? Also keep in mind toward the end there's someone off camera telling me to wrap it up. :)

  • I don't know the line, he was raising his eyes up, tilting his head up, and opening his mouth-- almost like trying to jump his head and words over one final 'hurdle' to stop--

I guess maybe they cut you laughing at their jokes? I dunno-- but I gotta admit, you're a good youtuber-- no defensiveness, no accusations-- thanks for your reply :3

  • I loved Hot Fuzz...it was halarious. It had been awhile since I had laughed that loud at the theatre. RENT THIS MOVIE AND BUY IT WHEN IT COMES OUT!

  • UNREQUITED IS GREAT SONG FOR FILM

  • Hot fuzz was a great movie. "Have you ever fired your gun in the air and yelled ahhh?" Great line!!!

  • the greatest three!!!

    i like them

  • i love those 3

  • nick gained weight and simon lost weight.

  • Nope, Nick just wore girdles (allegedly)

  • Hahaha!

    Awesome. Thanks.

  • Great interview.
