Thanks for the video, I was wondering if you knew if the unit streams application audio from iPhone? for example when you're in Youtube does the audio stream to the car's speakers.
Do you know if the 6100 can accept the dual mic the 9100 offers? I wanted to retrofit this in my dashboard to flushmount the display which would hide the mics on the side of the display.
the only real difference is the MKi9100 has the Ipod/USB/3.5mm docking cable. Allowing you to plug in an Ipod or Iphone and play music from it.
The MK6100 is a sole bluetooth kit., It is A2DP so will stream music, but the early Iphones could only do this with using another item to plug into the base of the Iphone.
(Im sure the 3GS Iphone supports A2DP but havent connected one upto the NK6100 yet so cant comment... The MKi9100 has a specific lead for this. Also the MKi9100 is athe replacement for the MK6100. The MKi9100 display unit is a little smaller because the MK6100 had mics in. they have dropped this feature. There might be 20 pounds between the kits. the newer one is better..id go with the MKi9100. Hope it helps. from steve
