Hey man, thanks for this and your other videos, just discovered u today :)
From what i've been able to hear (at least on his solo acoustic album) he plays the beginning a little different than u do. He holds the Em chord and just removes his finger from the A string. So it will be something like this, string wise: E A D A D G E D. First 3 picks will be Em chord, and then he only holds the 2nd fret on the A-string, the G u use is right:)
