i think its cause captain jack "likes anything with a postcode" in john barrowmans words so i think most people just assume he's bi from that!! my favourite recurring character in dr who definitely he's got the best scenes in the show!!
Cheers for this it's really cool woop woop. But can someone explain how does Rose looking into the "vortex" or whatever it is bring Jack back to life..and why forever/immortal??
was jack immortal before he was brought back to life? if he wasnt than the reason he can't die could be because rose saved him with the heart of the tardis. how did she do that exactly? :S
i havnt watched this epi in aaages and cant remember fully what happened.
what happened was.. jack was mortal in the seris with christopher blah blah blah. but he was killed by daleks, in this episode. rose absorbed the time vortex and brought him back to life (cos she was human) but she couldn't control it and brought him back for ever. see utopia for the thing
sure! The Doctor isn't human. He's a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey...if I understand it correctly, Time lords can "regenerate" when they're mortally wounded. They literally become "new men" They can do this up to 13 times I believe. S1 Doctor Who is #NINE S2-S3 is #TEN (the old series had the first 8.) Their memories transfer but their bodies (and some personality traits) are completely different.
He looks so much younger then the Jack we know from Torchwood.

Interesting, he was considered to be one of the main roles in will and grace way back when, but the producers said he felt 'too straight'. :)

@theBUZshow Yeah did you know that he's been with his partner since 19992.

Quite nice, but having a "fade out" transition between the clips would make it smoother. ^_^

In the first few episodes with Jack in he's a bit obnoxious, oblivious and such but you had to love him whatever.
And now he's grown, we still love him :D
What a brilliant character.

I am fairly new to the Dr. Who Universe. Can anyone explain the ending as one Dr. Who becomes another?
