Good advices, but i really get mad... i analyse my opponent, punish him, block well and still get beaten by mashing and random ultras... this really suck. i just habe 600 PP and against 5000+PP Gamers i nearly win a round, against mashers i still lose or have very close matches...

another tip i think is important is to know ur char like back of ur hand and use every normal, super and ultra in the correct situation i main zf so goin to the faq site helped alot with normals especially

1. try the trials with every fighter (normal trial should be ok for the beginning) to learn the basics of each fighter and so u know them better....repeat the trials with ur favorite fighter(s) until u do them in no time

2. go training mode with ur favorite....here check out every single attack of him/her and also memorise the angle and damage of the attacks/combos....train the combos u got probs in trial

3. in option turn arcade request on (im doing it with championship)

now go and play arcade on a challenging level.....now u didnt have to search for players and u are already warmed up when fighting an human opponent ;)

i did so and improved alot in just two days (3-4hours a day)....since i turned the arcade request on i also play alot more relaxed, cause sometimes u search and search and only get players with very bad connection....u are pissed off before a fight has already started.....i forgot to say in no.2:

try to figure out more combos:)

best advice is to try to learn play with everyone it helps alot if you just stick with a certain range characters chances are you wont get any better and helps in predicting what someone is going to due with a certain characters

@akangarou number 5 doesnt really matter if you main or sub a top tier...you can use blanka or guy and still win it all depends on the amount of practice you do/patience always is a key during an online match

Another top 5 (In no REAL order)... 5. Main/Sub a top-tier. Yes, we know you love using Makoto, but you don't get pity for playing bad matchups. 4. Be patient. You have 99 seconds. Use them. 3. Defend for a little. Block, backdash, tech throws, don't jump. You don't need to do something every wakeup 2. Be simple Unless you're trying to run out the clock, 20-hit combos are only as effective as the first 5 or so hits. 1. Pick your fights. Matches with horrendous lag help nobody.

I just got this game and I love it, but every time i play online, I always end up playing against people who just spam hadouken (or other similar attacks) or they just kick my legs and when I go down they just keep doing that until i'm dead. It kind of ruins the online experience
