@moviebuff1941 - he unfortunately is. I can kind of understand where he's coming from though. There were so many "novelty" records during the 40s, 50s and 60s but people knew it was novelty. The difference now is that nobody does. They think that Justin Bieber has "something to say".

The novelty back then was better and required more skill to make too, obviously. And of course there were alternatives within the mainstream domain, which did mean something.
