a bunker shot is a purposely played fat shot. just think fat shot and you will be at least decent. i was a good bunker player when i first started golf cause i would hit so many fat shots out in fairways and rough. just brought it to the bunker

and now i know my problem.... i used every tip he mentioned except with the swing plane.... i never knew that you should swing in the direction your feet are pointing just with a club face pointing toward your target area.

@aznlyfe123 It depends who you lilsten to really. If you watch Phil Mickelson's bunker video (on YouTube also) you'll see he recommends that you open your feet but swing along the target line!

I think there are a few ways of playing bunker shots to be honest!
