Can anyone tell me why my ciggerette lighter and power port will not work.I checked the fuse and it is not blown. both lighter and port are plugged in.neither work. but with a car as shitty as the chevy malibu.I should thank my lucky stars that the thing even runs.also it rides terrible.I mean small bumbs jar your fillings loose.Ive had $100 beaters that ride better.I heard that even if you change the shock/strutts.it doesnt get much better

i have a 99 olds cutlass and i just cut the muffler off and put a straight pipe on. it sounds similar

@Eney53  Cut off your old muffler. get a new one at a autostore or online what ever you choose. Either clamp it on like i did. or you can get it welded on by a shop. i would get it welded on if i were you.

What i did to my 98 chevy s10 i cut out my old muffler and put a cherry bomb glasspack series and it sounds great! but my power stearing pump is going and the whining cuts right threw the rumble

@Eney53 cheapest way to get a good sound is to cut away chunks of the mufflers shell. My exhaust had rusted away a bit and it sounded mean. Also add a cold air intake and it gets a nice rev

@Eney53 i know its quite late, so i dont know how much help this will be, but yes, you can get just the muffler, just unbolt or cut off the old one, clamp it on and find a way to hang it on the car, its real simple

Yup same muffler. honestly i wouldnt do any performance mods for this car... just change the stereo sysytem thats what i did

How long did it take to install? Was it hard hook up to the car?

It didnt take that long. SInce the car was a 2000 i had to cut the muffler off with a saw. But you have to buy a bunch of connectors at a murray's or autozone the muffler's input is too large for the stock pipe. It took about 2 hours to be done

your inlet and outlet are to big.sounds shitty.you need 21/4 max with a small tailpipe.trust me it will sound better.

Yea i took it off about a month ago. Im running without a muffler right now. Probably gonna get the stock on back on so i can sell it without someone complaining when they buy it

Good advice man. I shouldnt have gone midevil on this car haha. I had to cut the stock muffler off with a saw and i really shouldve brought it to a shop to be welded on. but it dosent matter im trading this car in for a new one.

The inlet and outlet is about 3 inches. I dont have it welded on in this video its all clamped on. If you were to get a cherry bomb, i would get it welded by a muffler shop.
