Kev this is awesome - and brass to? I never thought of using that as a material. However are you building a Rainbow or a 1001 Nacht? Your picture looks like the Weber 1001 Nacht, and the diagram / supports you talk about resemble the Chance Falling Star. Good luck with your project.
