Since you measure connection speed with bit and not Byte, i believe he meant 10Tbit/s, which isn't that much at all... In Sweden I can, you can (if you move here), anyone can (aslong as they live where they connected fiber optics which they are doing all over the country), you can get 1Tbit/s downlink connection for not that much at all..

So If you think we have to wait 100+ years for that kind of speeds you must've been sleeping for atleast a decade.

@halogamers18 Torrent programs measures Megabyte (MB/s) per second which means 1MB is about 7-8Mbit (i know cuz i had that speed before) and yeah, it's not the worst but if you ever tried 100Mbit/s (as i have now) it sucks :P

What you mean is Gbit, not Tbit, which is 1024 times faster.

With 10Tbit you'd be downloading at a rate of over a Terabyte/s, which is impossible with current harddrives (including SSD (flash))

the about 290000kb/s would be about 1Gbit, which is a fast connection, but not the fastest in the world.
