There's no denying that the percentages look bad for blacks. But to assume that the behavior of people is related to nothing more than their skin color is simple-minded at best.
Most blacks come from a similar background; this is the reason. Any other race in the same circumstances would have comparable stats. Looking only at race and correlating that is taking the easy way out.
who causes the bad neighborhoods? who turns the word "neighborhood" into "hood"? who boasts, brags and tries to glamorize the hood life...thug life? who blames whites about oppressing them hundreds of years ago so they can use it as an excuse to NOW be ignorant or have that "i dont give a fuck" attitude? get real. your race is destined for self destruction and the worst part is they cant do it without affecting us.
I have no problem with someone who hates people who do bad things. But the problem with racism is that it's hatred of people simply because of the actions of other members of their race. Some do the things you spoke of. Some don't.

This is a product of several things: background, family situation, peer pressure, role-models (or lack thereof), knowledge (or lack thereof), ect. Even you have been around many blacks, most of those that you've based your opinion on likely come from similar (and unfortunate) situations. So how am I naive?
