I am in not anyway justifying what Golota did, but the ref kept asking in the first couple rounds for Golota to get his punches up. Most of those body shots were on the belt line or an inch below. Bowe trunks were pulled way up, almost to his belly button, and his pot belly made it difficult to see where his crotch starting and stomach ended. The ref should have used more discretion.
