guys, this is a fairly good cover, but the timing is a little off. (Unacceptable if you're not a live band really) and the most fundamental issue is that it gets really pitchy at around 2:54. Really whats up with the tuning there? and stays out ...

Sorry I don'r mean to be negative, I really like what you guys have achieved. Any musos will know just how hard this song is. But a tuner would help!

Well, there is no relation between "control my energy" and what I really did on this cover. The fills I added were intented to keep my cover I little different from the original one.

As I always said, a cover is not a copy. To cover means to interpret, and that's what I did.

Please constructively comment next time.

The fact is: I played my way. You would play your way, however you can't think your way is right and mine is wrong. You need to see another point: If I can't control my energy, I should AVOID adding stuff. Why should I fill it with a lot of notes if I can't control them?

@YTDSoM I think the drums were perfect, Neil peart is a very good drummer and his parts are hard to play, you made it your own and i don't care if you are "new" or if you played for 20 years... this was a good cover with emotion and originality! @YTDSoM I think the drums are fine.. they just need to be mixed differently.. they are way to loud.. guitar needs to be louder and bass as well.. keyboards are fine in the fix.. just bring the bass and guitar to those levels , otherwise.. good show :)

@YTDSoM I'd recommend moving the camera a bit away from the drums, the sound will probably be a bit cleaner.

That's a good idea, but it would only be relevant if I used the camera's mic to record. If I tryed that, the drums would sound terriblely bad, so I decided to record with separate mics.

Horribly overc ompressed sound on the master track. It squashes the bass player, and the guitarist comes through a little too hot. Drums can be pushed back a bit. Why not separate the guitar to the left a little? Fade the drums a little farther right. The bass is the show here and the mix down just killed it. Everybody played their asses off though. Love the talent in this video.

primeiramente o som tirado da bateria ficou bom, visto poucos microfones! é aquilo que dizem tirar agua de pedra. A bateria ficou numa afinação adequada e bem feita. A execução ficou legal visto que sua pegada de baqueta é mais ``jazzistica`` não é muita enfase na pegada como o rock mas sim no fluir!

Como guitarrista, preste mas atencion a la guitarra y me parecio el punto mas debil. Sin embargo pienso que tiene las aptitudes pero necesita practicar y escuchar mas la cancion.

El timing tambien estaba off en algunos puntos, pero todo es cuestion de mas practica. Felicidades por lograr ensamblar el video a distancia. Me gustaria alguna vez intentarlo.

The guitarist wasn't bad and neither was the drummer ( he kinda jazzed up the song) but the guitarist does need a bit of work and i think the drums were a bit too loud in places. but other than that good job!

Now I mean this in the kindest of ways...the guitarist ruined it. He had some tonal issues considering this is a Rush song (impossible to emulate Alex), he had a tendency to scratch his strings at the end of every bass solo (and that bassist was killing it too i wanted to hear that), plus the downward scale on the B string at the end of the solo is always all hammers and pulls,tremolo picking it takes away the character. Maybe I'm just too old school...he's a good player just needs to study Alex

En realidad, Daniel grabó la batería en su casa en Brasil, Sérgio la guitarra en Portugal y yo el bajo y teclado en mi casa en Bucaramanga, Colombia. Desde luego el trabajo puede ser aún mejor, pero de todas formas pienso que esta es una muestra de la maravilla que es Internet.
