Still I think Samurai Champloo still rest as my favorite anime series of all time. Mostly since I tend to like animes based on Samurais or martial arts better.

It's only consider a Dub if its done in Post Production. If they added alternate language options during production, it wouldn't be consider a Dub. It still wouldnt matter if the main language in the anime was Japanese or not.

I have it, you can find it using emule or ares or something like that. Search with the title of "rain" I think that the group is called seatbelts or something like that. The best musician there is yoko kanno. The name of the file i have is "yoko kanno, mai yamane -rain", search for the female vocal is so much better than the male.

This, for me, was the turning point in my appreciation for anime. I had enjoyed a couple of japanese animated films before, but when I saw this scene on adult swim years back, I really began to enjoy other types of cinema, anime being the most prominent.

Now if only all english dubs were as good as this one...

my guess is that english dubs aren't that good compared to other languages anyhow because there are only so many blockbusters and so on that originate from languages other than english. German dubs for example (even the cowboy bebop one) can be very execellent - doesn't mean they all have to be, enough bad talents have been used on some good games etc

..but to the first of what you said.. CB was also a turning point for me.. especially to look for really good anime or better
