  • jill schoelen was hot in DC cab

  • Netflix trims its classic movies.

  • Somehow this is recommended for me 0_0

  • I know, it's impossible to find! I went on E Bay and there are two used VHS copies, that's it, and they're not even in mint condition! Obviously not even the low-budget houses like Flashback are re-circulating this odd-ball classic! Shame! Somebody upload the whole movie... I want to see Jill, she's so hot!

  • @MrJazzHOP Have you tried Netflix?

  • I love this movie, I can't find it anywhere!!!

  • @shawnwesj79 Try Netflix. You can find it there.

  • A fun, underrated cult horror gem.

  • @TheAltair4

Did you see this in theaters? this movie predated "Scream" big time and has great ideas. I saw it in theaters In Halloween time of 91 at 10 and loved it.

  • @Johnlindsey289 I saw this one twice in theaters. I'm sure that Kevin Williamson was inspired by this when he wrote Scream.

  • saw popcorn back in the early 90s it scared the hell out of me i was 5

  • I remember when this was in theaters twenty years ago, but just watched this for the first time. After an iffy start, it was actually pretty good. Although I fail to see how it's a "precursor to Scream." Plenty of horror movies before "Scream" were whodunits, and this is hardly meta-horror like "Wes Craven's New Nightmare."

  • i bought this from poundland lol

  • And....

R.I.P. Tom Villard, whose performance in this movie was inspired.

  • I always thought this movie should have been more popular. Watching it again, I noticed a few similarities to "Scream." I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Williamson was a fan of "Popcorn."

  • Saw this at the theater! It was a fun horror movie!

  • Cheesy, but still in it's own way if you are a fan of campy horror that isn't really scary. Couldn't find this anywhere, but finally found a seller on Amazon and got a VHS

  • This looks good is it on youtube?

  • Before Scream too...

  • Another terrible horror movie that tried to say they were better than the slasher icons in the trailer. Go figure.

  • If this movie was made in 1991 how could it have been before Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elmstreet or Halloween? :) Also.. the bad guy in this movie was the dork in "One Crazy Summer." He was one of the stork twins, the other was Bob Cat Goldthwait.

  • @hootyhaha They mean the movie within the movie.

  • you know this movie is so damn wierd and confusing, don't deny it. well maybe that's cause i was 13 when i first saw it but even so, years later it's even MORE wierd and confusing!

  • I was 9 when I saw this back in 92 and loved it, now I'm 27 and I just watched it on netflix a few hours ago and this shit is the lamest shit I've seen since house of the dead. I love that tagline. Buy a bag...go home in a box. That's the sickest tagline in any movie.

  • I remember going crazy when I saw the trailer as a kid wanting to see it, then when I did as a teen I hated it. I will check it out again.

  • ~ABSOULUtELY^AWESOME FICK~!!!!!!! =]

  • i bet if this movie were to have come out this genoration i bet it probly would have a pg13 rating just becase ive seen the movie and i love it also but seems like there making every thing pg13 unless there freaking torture films like saw and hostle

  • This is one of those sucky 90's horror movies.

  • Comment removed

  • I love this movie so much!!!! Ive been looking for it on dvd for almost 5 years.

  • @dsnygirl16 netflix has it

  • @VierNulAcht thank you very much! ^,^

  • @dsnygirl16 It's not on DVD their toying the dvd coming out sometime in 2013 . I am going to look for the commercials.

  • I loved this movie! It was a really fun horror/comedy that did some great parodies of the 50's promotional horror films. (Think William Castle!) If you like those campy kinda shows, you'd probably enjoy this. It's like a 90's version of one with some good 80's cheese. Never could decide which of the mini movies in Popcorn I liked best, but probably either Mosquito or The Stench. *chuckle*

  • Jill Schoelen is fkn cute in her own way. This movie kicks ass. Hard to find.

  • lol buy a bag!!! go home in a box!! lol

  • The moment Jill Shoelin steps into the shower in 'The Stepfather' is probably my all-time favorite moment in American Horror:P

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

  • I love the voice-over guy's voice. Did he retire or something? That's what's missing from so many movies now a days... :(

  • He was With the Flim Companey New World Pictures they went bust in the late 80's so i gather he lost his Job

  • The movie is NOTHING like this trailer. Whatever they were selling in this trailer, THAT was a movie I wanted to see! The one I actually *paid* to see, on the other hand, kinda sucked.

No, it just plain old sucked.

  • Thanks,I were planning on downloading this but after hearing what you said...well,let's just say you save my bandwidth :p

  • I think this movie's pretty fun. Not high on scares or anything, and you can tell it was a troubled production (with the last minute replacements), but I've certainly seen worse. It's entertaining and the cast looks like they have a blast; Jamaica's gorgeous...and I think Scream's a rip off of it.

  • I don't remember this movie, but I do remember the commercial and the tagline, "Buy a bag, go home in a box!".
