Ok what people fail to realize is this, on sept 12 1959 the ussr crash landed an unmanned ship on the moon. usa however crash landed july 28th in 1964. these crash landings were tests. and there are dozens more by both countries. when it comes down to it, this stuff is NOT uncommon to those who study astronomy and science.

Why is it that astronauts back in the 60's took images that were absolutely razor sharp of the Moon and Earth, but these many years later the Youtube videos -- supposedly far more recent -- look like crud? Hmmm...

uhhhh I dunno, maybe because youtube is based on lesser-quality compressed video-files, that way they stream fast and don't take forever to watch. I'm sure the original source looks much better than this.

In short scoach airbrushing and im sure u already knew that heh; also if you look into it if you have a 10 inch telescope on the ground u can get get better detail of the moon than any nasa flyby foto... sigh :( check out: Dark mission - by Richard C. It is clearly a small object made to looke like a large object, much like in B rated movies for instance when they want to make a cruise ship look large when it is clearly a very small model of one.

Plus you can see where the pencil has been sharpened.

Shame really though as I would have loved this to be real. :(

The most damning fact of this being a fake... While the hand-held camera is shaking, the out-of-focus printed reticle pattern on the window is NOT! For the reticle to be this steady, the window would effectively have to be attached to the camera, which would of course require THE SPACECRAFT ITSELF to be the source of the shaking(!). This just looks wrong.

Unfortunately, much "fake" information is "disinformation" and most continue to be fooled. Please see my other video clips regarding 9/11. This was the biggest "fake" in history, save the Nazi "humane" treatment of undesirables in "relocation camps", until the reality of the actual concentration camps were finally discovered at the end of the war. Yes, one must be aware of the possible nature of "fakes".

The graticule I believe is on the eyepiece of the AOG telescope being used. That would explain why the numbers do not change size and are in focus. Zooming is from the telescope and the camera is set to short focal lenth to utilize the telescope eyepiece.

Hey, that device in the camera (with the numbers)must have been placed between the viewing-glass and the zoom mechanism - lest it would have been to avail.High-tech devices 20-50 years back, often had delicate mechanical details (check the way this contraption in the camera slides in at the beginning of the recording)

I think the reason for this is that the whole of the video has some old footage from apollo 11 superimposed over it. The numbers are painted on the windows of the module which internal cameras then are focused through, obviously they do not focus in the right way. Up until the 'spacecraft' appears the footage is probably from apollo 17 as it is accurate to the geography of the Fermi/deporte/lutke region. After that well what happens on the first month of april?

It does look miniature, but more importantly that same exact UFO model was claimed to be authentic in a UFO picture many years ago. This may be a remake of a model that was created based on that picture, otherwise, if it's not some sort of a simple project, maybe person found the model set somewhere and filmed it to prove the original picture was fake. Other possibilities exist much simpler.

I am a professional photographer, been around the world many times, worked for years for the United States Air Force as a pro-- a very interesting clip, and well done in many respects, it IS a total fake. A model on a table top. Numbers superimposed are a second layer of video, IMPOSSIBLE physically- no continuity foreground and farground-- shake, and disparity of depth of field (fore and far both in focus). People fooled if they don't know.

Over the past month, I've taken an insane interest in the whole ufo/govt cover-up thing (which has hit me real hard) and I'm questioning, are aliens really Extraterrestrials or are these life forms genetically engineered by some society?

It hurts me to see such good video hoax work wasted on this. Apollo 20 was canceled in 1970. Excusing the Apollo 20 faux pas; the chromographic image was too good plus (as previously said) gravity was effecting the camera. Scores a one star because no big foot or gray alien was in it.

Camera lens behavior is like gravity-- there are some basics from which deviation is impossible. Get your camcorder and mark some numbers on a window and play with this yourself. Note- I am not passing judgment on whether or not there is intelligent life on other worlds, or that there is other authentic UFO footage-- which personally, yes, I do believe is true. Just my thoughts on this particular one here.

Okay, great fun, I really had to think about this one for a while....

he number of hits this video has received is amazing-- nearly shut down my server.

HOWEVER-- one must always let things COOK.

Note the size of the numbers on the "window".

Watch the camera ZOOM in.

The foreground numbers remain the same size.

The relative size of the numbers, which we are assuming are either physically superimposed on the window (or projected onto the window,

but almost certainly not since they are DARK), should also change in size as the camera zooms in. You would also not be able to do such a severe zoom, and still have foreground objects (like window numbers) in focus.

They don't. This then exposes that this video is not genuine, from my understanding of cameras and lenses, being a photographer, and a film maker myself.

Frontal lobes it, baby. Think, analyze, read- cook inside your brain for a little while...

Then you get to the CORE truth.

Also note, further, the numbers themselves do not shake in sync with the rest of the image that is shaking. Great fun, and had me going for quite a while.
