I never like dubbed voices and I appreciate the fighters not to talk. We heard enough just from them shouting out the move names. They shouldn't even shout out move names if they have a refined voice cast! Besides I always thought Phil Lar Mar should play Akuma if not at least be mysteriously silent and reserved. Big mistake that Ryu doesn't even remotely sound Japanese.

Ken was a little too playful. That voice would have worked for SF Alpha, but not SF 4.

Ryu was a bit too light. It should have been lower.

The rest were perfect. Except Chun Li.

I did my research and I was mistaken as far as E. Honda goes but I also did my research on Guile and as far as it always being called the Somersault Kick that I wasn't wrong about it was originally called the Blade Kick. My proof is with the STF2 history on character moves it was later changed to the Flash Kick only fans called it the Somersault Kick and even STF4 backed me up on the one if you have the game or any STF game it'll read Flash Kick.

Color me very impressed on some of the English voices. Vega's voice is amazing and really fits his character. Zangiefs is just ace, and is really how the Red Cyclone should sound.

El Fuerte is such a colorfull character, this crazy heavy accented voice fits him.

Actually it sound pretty good! i was the type of fan that did not like when games or anime were translated to english, did not sound real, but the last couple of years they americans doubs have really improved themselves, and im starting to really preffer the english versions, that way you can only concentrate in the action and dont have to bother reading and loosing part of the action ^^

English voices are always going to displease a few people... especially hardcore fans with their own ideals. I thought Vega and Sagat sounded decent.. Ryn and Ken, too.. in fact, I have no real complaints... only that they included some stupid fat guy in the line-up instead of someone good. Rufus FTL... I'd replace him with DeeJay, I think.

We'll see, anyway... hopefully there's an option to turn the commentary and voices off in-game.

If this is good, I can finally put away the SNES!
