This Movie's graphics/artwork rendering/and fluency has greatly eclipsed the earlier Shippuden movies--most noticeably around 1:20. Just imagine if the animation incorporated in this movie was actually used throughout the actual anime?

One can certainly dream, though. It's ashame that Shippuden's budget is nowhere near what it should be.

I speculate Itachi gave Naruto some of his power to make his eyes weaker, because he didn't want Sasuke to gain new powers after taking his eyes. Itachi predicted Sasuke's madness and wanted to protect Konoha somehow.

I have another theory, that Itachi put part of power with part of his soul in Naruto in order to protect Naruto from Sasuke's new horrific powers.

@japmayhem Time travelling to past is nothing original. Writers had no interesting idea for plot, so they decided to put Naruto in diferent times. This is confusing to show the all characters younger and the main character in same age.
