Really enjoyable to watch! The evolution of the tools you used for detection was the best part. This really got me thinking about additional detection devices that could be set up for the long term. It's cool when a simple idea takes on a life of its own! Perhaps getting some temperature measurements as well in different parts of the room to detect large changes.
I think this is the next phase of the "Blair Witch" and "Paranormal Activity" genre; these guys are acting and the whole thing is staged, unless we are supposed to know that - but real this is not.

What Ghost Lab never was. Nicely done though. Far less drama. Concise and to the point. Well placement of visual cues. No lagging of subject. No centering upon the strength or weakness of one specific character. Syfy and all the rest could learn from your efforts. I believe there is some truth regarding elements portrayed.
1) The filmic language: There is too much visual language for this to be a visceral documentary, the rubix cube, the montage sequences, the acting- things in life do not happen like this. It is the same mode of acting as Blair witch or Catfish where no matter what, there is just an air of premeditation in all the dialogue and deliveries.
2) They do not back up any of the ghost hunting machines, what are they? If this is a documentary what are they documenting? Seems like they are just filming themselves.
3) Shadow people do not look like that, that is completely fake. Though shadows are rarely seen during the day, I have seen them and that is not what they look like, even on film.
PS ghosts don't only appear at night, they are easier for us to see them because as they say "the veil is thinnest" then.
i dont think ghosts 'only come out at night'. i think what happens, is at night time, it is usually way way way quieter, and in total darkness, our senses are greatly hightened, which makes 'hunting' them easier, but nevertheless more noticable making it seem as if they are around only at night, but really it is our awareness that is hightened then.
It's a great short film, however, it's pretty obvious that some of the paranormal evidence has been edited. I'm not sure i completely understand the concept; Is this supposed to be fiction or is this based off of an actual yr long paranormal investigation? I don't think that has ever been done before, filming in the same paranormal hot-spot for that amount of time. Very interesting concept, yet i'm absolutely certain if THIS isn't SUPPOSED to be fiction, some of the evidence you've shown here is
@cree8tv Much of this was filmed in my office. I have Thera-Gesic boxes all over my desk because my company makes it. Max had the freedom to film as he pleased, as long as it didn't interfere with work. Asking me to move stuff so he could film something would have been interfering. It was a big enough distraction as it was. I totally get where you're coming from, but your question is kind of like watching something filmed in the woods and asking why there was so much tree placement.
You caught something there that is very compelling, visual evidence that is hard to dismiss. It will be hard for skeptic to dismiss that as a hoax. That shadow movement @ 10:21 is a great capture, compelling visual evidence. Shadow movement @ 11:08, very good capture. Overall, this is an excellent video ! The raccoons @ 06:23 is funny, LOL !!! So that booby trap is a low-tech ghost detector ? Ingenius ! That shadow @ 07:37 does NOT correlate to the guy's movements - it is a shadow presence, very suggestive of being a paranormal manifestation. I would call it an apparition because it's exhibiting humanlike movements, signs that it is conscious NOT like an anomaly.
I like the way this was filmed and the look of it. This is primetime quality video of competitive calibre, very impressive ! I can see this on primetive tv. So there was the building has a paranormal history that you guys knew about even before that poltergeist activity @ 01:08. That type of poltergeist manifestation is hard to dispute because of multiple witnesses.
