its disgusting!!! It leaves me so cold knowing that I, more than likely will never be able to play the guitar even close to as good as that...please tell me it took months and months to get that piece down and that you had to read the music to know the melody lines ...how the heck do you keep the same finger pattern as well as drop in the melody lines together without losing your rhythm.. ive been playing for 3 years now and am not even close...HELP

Since they no longer make this model can you recommend a replacement Breedlove to take its place? I want a cedar top concert size and am a bit confused by all their new model offerings. What type of strings are you using/recommending?

@Dominik22IN This actually took a couple of hours.But I'd played the song with a band before.If you listen carefully Im not always the exact guitar riff that Andy Summers played.This is not an error I do this because the harmony clashes when played as a guitar solo but somehow seems to work when you play the gtr riff and sing over the top of it.

2 years ago, i wanted so badly to learn the guitar so i went out and bought a $2700 custom taylor. i tried to play that thing almost every day but it gave me hand cramps so badly. just a few months ago, i found out from a professional luthier that the guitar was structurally flawed, causing the strings require more force to be pressed down on. i'm pretty mad that I wasted 2 years trying to learn on that thing. i can't imagine how much better i would be had i bought form another company.

yea I always thought other guitarists were finding it easier than me.All that excessive left hand pressure on the Taylor left me practising on a cheap guitar then having to practice on the day of a gig on the taylor to get my fingers reaching that bit further and pressing harder.Thanks for taking an interest here !

The tuning by the way is standard tuning E B G D A E however I use the capo on the 3rd fret.

The neck and feel....

OK...My Taylor was a 414Ce its a factory made guitar and although I worked alot with it I found the muscle on my Left hand between thumb and index finger could only take so much.Which can be awkward in the middle of a gig.

The breedlove doesn´t cause this problem because it is made by a luthier who also plays the guitar not by a machine.Apparently the first pair of hands the touches a Taylor is the guy that puts the strings on it.

I rest my case !!!

This guitar plays perfectly without needing a set up from a luthier.

Make sure you play a few Breedlove guitars to find the one that feels and sounds best for you,as the different models and combinations of wood offer different tone and dynamics.

trust me you won´t go wrong with a Breedlove !!
