Not sure where you viewed the final from. Christie was clearly responsible for false start, yet it was 'given' to Burrel. Watch the two after Burrel's slow start. There's nothing between them. Christie took gold, but Burrel was as good as him and Lewis better. Watch last leg of 4x100m to confirm this.

Been a while since looked at this thread, but if you want to see why I say Lewis false started and it was awarded to Burrell then look at video CiudaddeMexico1968 posted titled '1992 Barcelona Olympic 100m Fina.l' The first false start is the one i'm referring to. Burrell's head does move and may have been reason for false start, but it is clearly Christie that is first out of the blocks.

Now john regis is the man that would have been more worthy with olympic gold. Regis was more a team player his endeavours in the relays were magnificent and i respected him more.
