I never thought the president needed to make any comments on Iran either, but when you have all these damn politicians out there trying to score points with their radical base by demanding he make a statement against Iran what's a guy to do? As a recent college grad, from my point of view there isn't a lot that the president can do at this point of the game to revive the economy. It will take innovation and new job creation to make leaps and bounds.

I absolutely agree with you 100%. Where I think we went wrong is bailing out the auto industry. Saving a dying company(s) that are badly mismanaged only stifles innovation and entrepreneurism. But we will soon find out if it worked. My guess is it is going to get worse. After the last depression (not that this is a deppression) america had big industry to pull them back up, and this time around big industry has virtually disappear, it makes for a very tricky juggling act.
