WBC protesters followed the law by staying over 1000 ft away from the funeral site. They followed all the orders. They did not disrupt the funeral. No one who attended the funeral saw them because they followed the order to locate themselves far away from the site. The media sensationalized by saying that they distrupted the funeral. You cannot punish law-abiding cititzens who were just practicising their religion.

If a person has right to do something one cannot claim it just because they hate an action or it upsets them. If the country went by what upsets people then noone could speak or move or fart or well anything as everyone would claim "you upset me you upset me!"
