Get a marcel iron. preheat the strand, put it somewhat close to your scalp..but don't burn yourself. this iron is specially made to twirl without using your wrist. you put the hair in between start rolling every now and then open and close it just a smidge to get it going more and roll again and repeat ...once you get to the ends you ever so slightly open it again and hold for a couple seconds and let go..walah if i get my computer fixed sometime in the near future i'll post a video.

Not to be rude but i'm in cosmetology school and you should always always always start curling your hair at the base not the ends....you can fry your ends that way plus create those indentions that aren't very flattering.

Laurinnha - I know how you feel. I live in Bulgaria and everything flipping thing I want I can't get. However I can get these "granny rollers" here - maybe because they are so old fashioned. Also rollers with wax in you heat in hot water. They hold curls better than anything, including electric rollers. Hope you got them ok

you might need to get your stylist to thin it out when your getting your hair trimmed, i have really long thick hair and i get it thinned out once every two months it makes my hair so easy to manage and it grows back so dont worry. good luck
