  • there is lots of elk and if you go in the fall during the rut season it is a sight to see.. we love it there.. you must try and go there at least one in your lifetme, we hike a lot here too.. :)

  • That's neat! We went to Lone Elk Park in St. Louis, MO. while on vacation this summer. I think we ended up only seeing one along the road..We did see buffalo all bedded down in some water though. Looks like there must be lots of elk there in Colorado. Looks fun!
